UFC the ground fights are all boring, no stomping, kneeing, or kick a down opponent. In real fights thats what its all about. This is closer to real fighting than UFC.

Groundfighting is far less developed in China than it is in the West. People are just used to the idea that knockouts are the way you're "supposed" to win.

Totally agree. In the ring where there's a ref & the conditions are very much controlled ground game is very important & effective but in warfare the ground is uneven, broken bottles, rocks, lack of rules, enemy may have a weapon are factors & ground game is not recommended. Helps if you know it but most military martial arts discourage it such as Krav Maga and United States Marine Martial Arts. Standing up also allows you to escape &/or deal with multiple attackers.

you actualy do learn ground fighting in the army and in kravmaga, you do need to know it,because IF you fall, you need to be able to get up or defend youreself.

But indeed they discourage it.

Fact is that there are Chinese martial arts that have groundfighting, and if all martial arts in china are for real fighting,the also have to know some ground work.

Filipo seriously needs a lesson in takedown prevention. Peng did a good job on takedowns but needs to improve on his submission skills. He had 4 submission chances and didn't get any of them. Good fight overall
