When I got this bike it was barely used and not ridden in a while. I changed the oil and filter, new air filter, sparkplug, and drained the gas tank and put high octane fuel in it. I'm not an expert by any means but it sounds like the kick start might be stripped out?
can you tell me how you got yours to start better i have an 09 sxf 250 and its a real bitch to start most of the time i have to kick it for 15 mins before i get it to start or i have to bump start it
Mine was hard to start too when it was new. Now it's pretty easy

@plow250 It's a 2005, it's not the new one. That's why. This model was bought as a prototype and I bought it from my buddy who got it new.
