  • I'm so glad God heard the dead people's prayer's that this man was not voted to become a president of Uganda. I will fight until death apart. God forbids that I live longer than this man. They will never see any one become a politician in Uganda again. Uganda needs all new people in her politics. We will never return back unless there is a devil who has worked his miracles to return these idiots.

  • Do not be fooled. Olara Otunu served as the Minister of Internal affairs during Idi Amini. We have not brought him to justice to answer the questions of millions of people who died under his regime. No Ugandan in his senses should follow in the trap of people who drove Uganda to the edge of destruction. All young people who don't know what happened you need to go and read your history. We should vote for M7. When the right leader comes, God will show him/her to us. Be very carefull.

  • This guy is one jokker. The fact that he feels safe enuf to come back and join politics just shows how much freedom Uganda has. In their days, when you said anything,I mean anything about the President, even by mistake, you wud not live to see another day. Murderers they were.

Dont come back to the U.K we dont need you either.

  • If you can presntly see how mr. Otunu said he is not going to contest for presindential post, and at the end do the reverse, then we still have problems with intergrety in our presidents.

  • This interviewer is a JOKE, Anyway his yellow top shows which side he supports

  • While the situation in Uganda could use some changes, tribal hate doesnt help anyone.

What is going on in Uganda is that people are planting seeds of tribal hatred that can only lead to "Kenya of 2008".

  • can someone explain how somone m7 manages to change the constitution so he cans stay longer than he is allowed? can someone explain why thousands of children are dying of maleria? why the majority of people have no access to clean water? why hospitals are sooo bad?

  • @bumisworld he changed it constitutionally and parliament approved it. other countries such as france, uk ect all have no term limits for the top seat so why should uganda have it?? go 2 the uk and tell them to have term limits.children die of malaria coz its an incurable disease. do your research there is no cure for any disease caused by virus e.g hiv, west nile, the common cold. hospitals are bad coz there are no investors. investor will come when people are willing to pay for hospitals.....

  • Ugandans, we probably need a new trend and brand of leadership. I definitely agree with all these presidential aspirants...but we need new leaders now...not Museveni, Not Besigye, Not Sebagala, Not Otunnu. These people are all remains of past remains, we need new wine in new bottles. Period!!!!!!!

  • mr orala otunnu is moving forword not backword! donn't remaind us of the past.

  • what has m7 done to maintain or improve the healthcare/hospitals that the brittish left behind? nothing. what has his gov done to help/stop street kids wit no home beggin? nothing. what has his gov done to improve infrastructure/roads? nothing. what has the gov done for the north, people getting killed? nothing

  • Making sense should not depend on whether one comes from the north, south, east or west. Uganda's political landscape is simply ripe for a new brand of leadership, regardless of which region the next leader should happen to come from.

Otunnu's long stay overseas as an international diplomat is a plus in that he might be of the few Ugandan politicians to join the call for more democracy, transparency and accountability not so that he may "eat" well, but so that all may benefit from change.

  • If only Otunnu were the president. At least he can form complete sentences and has made an illustrious career for himself in international diplomacy. As it is, we have a crass, self-assured, knucklehead armyman for a leader, one who idealises the peasant masses - as if poverty were a virtue - even while he neglects the agriculture on which they depend. Sad.

  • The guy is not convincing at all.

  • Naaaaaaah, just because we need a change of leadership it doesn't mean we can even go for pepole like otunu.

COME ON FELLOW UGANDANS, we can do better than Besigye, Sebagala and Otunu!!

  • Please good Lord i hope and pray that we never have to see the days of olara otunu back in Uganda. He and his lot were once quoted saying that 'a good muganda is a dead one'.I hate the man with venom,i hope he changes his murderous mind and stays in britain forever.

  • I dont care if Otunnu isnt that known. One thing is for sure: Otunnu is more sincere than all those people who go to the north to sell more albums and pose for cameras. If u asked me, I would say Uganda's biggest tragedy isnt even Amin. It's the suffering that has lasted decades to innocent civilians of northern Uganda. And the fact that Ug is "far more stable" doesnt hold. M7 made the war so it was his duty to stop it. Afterall he got what he wanted- power! We're yearning 4 change of power.

  • "M7 has singlehandedly saved Uganda from the plunder...?" That's lunacy! M7 is a monster whom history will show to be worse than his predecessors.

  • Who is that some body that can unite and bring the so call Uganda to the level the people fancy if all present and the previous are bad?

  • Hahahaha!!!!!

You guys knows Mr. Museveni is a chewer hahahaha

he will i know betterAny way the people of Uganda should just do one thing if they need real peace and development they should just ignore whatever happened in the pass and come up with positive ideas to get people down to work so that maybe may be the change and happiness could raise

  • "I have not said i am going for presidency, I have not come to claim any position in Uganda,... " Let us wait to see if Olara can keep his word!! whose shoulder to shoulder is he going to move along? Everyone seems to be interested in seeing a democratic change after all, ... good he is not specifying which change...

  • NNNNNOOOO GOD FORBID NOT A NORTHERNER HE SHUD GO TO THE NORTH AND START THERe HIS EYES ARE GGRRR.After livin in uk now comes as a mesiah with no idea of the Ugandan life rite now but coz caos ,UPC LOOTED Uganda mercilessly .

  • true democracy is when people have a say in decishions that effect their lives, even the u.k is not a true democracy, only country closest to 'democracy' is switzerland.

  • i was born and bred in kampala and i think im old enough to remember the death and suffering when these guys were in power. u can see how he gets all worried and tentative when they bring this up.

  • Enough of this!! Let's have some young intelligent and visionary people come to public office in africa!!

  • If history is any guide, mr. Otunnu will be just as corrupt as the incumbent.

  • The guy is living on his past ...... He is obssesed with the past.

Never even gave a straight answer to any question.

M7 is a dictator but he(Olara) is 2 much of a chicken to even stand up against him.

    Caleb Mauti

  • Finally a worthy opponent to Museveni. Museveni, ICC Hague is waiting for you.

    Please watch: genocide in uganda;

-to understand that what Olara is talking about is true. Museveni has been the president of uganda (more like dictator) for over 23 years and over the years it has never been any kind of so called stability in uganda (particilary the northern regions.)...

  • Ithink he is really riding infront of his wheels.

    By the way,

Did he finish any of his Sentences?

  • You can always depend on a Jango to make politics interesting. Lol

  • Hahahah. I'm sure that's what some idiots used to say about Moi. At the end of the day, he is still a dictator who is always starting fights with his neinghbors.

  • all politicians think the same, pretend to love the people and fleece the country. mr otunndu is no different. musevenim is the best thing that ever happened to uganda if you are looking for peace, prosperity, intergrity and acadamic progress. we need museveni to lead the black race. so, otunnu just go back to your hideout

  • He must be very careful. He might end up like a chicken in a slaughter house. Politics is a dirty game.

  • Museveni will chew him and spit him out!

  • Once museveni chews him, he might swallow him I'm sure!

  • i realized freefastanker 1 and siasabora is just one person. more of a paid schemer.

  • whatever you say!
