  • Very nice, I've been looking for a sample library smaller, less expensive, and less demanding for the computer than Vir2 Electri6ity. I think this is it.

  • that's awesome actually. what haters don't realize is that as songwriters we don't necessarily want to learn to play every instrument that goes into our tracks!!!

  • @x7VenGeaNcE7x, consider that a songwriter lacks skill with a certain instrument, yet wants to write a piece for it using an instrument he is proficient in so that a guitarist can later legitimately play it.

  • Learn keyboard and you can play any instrument ;]

  • For me this would work perfectly. Why?

    Good enough guitar = $500+

Guitar lessons = Lots of time

Mics, Amps, or Distortion software = $200-1000+

And even then in recording audio as opposed to midi performance you've gota ll kinds of new things to learn and look out for. Static, clicks, and keeping all of that equipment in good shape.

MIDI is an amazing thing. Without it, a music composer or producer would have to pay for every single instrumentalist or learn it all.

  • Very impressive, but as a guitarist, this is definitely no replacement. It just isn't possible to capture the emotion 1 note at a time. But, it's this comparison that I now look at MY virtual instruments and wonder how realistic they sound to their respective musicians. I understand why they were created and great work!!!

  • This is actually really good, I could use this while writing songs

  • nao tem talento...use a tecnologia

  • everyone who commented on this saying that its stupid and that the keyboardist should learn to play guitar. youre fooling yourself.

99% of the guitarists i know arent classically trained and cant be asked a question like "hum an F#" and then go to the note right away.

so before you rip on sound designers and producers who may want to use this for a simple effect, or a full out song, look who youre comparing yourself to, and realize that youre getting SCHOOLED!

  • Don't you love it how the more aggressive the haters, the more it means this library kicks ass?

People who devote themselves to an art hate it when you can achieve similar results with another technique than the one they're busting their ass to master. I guess they think it's not fair.

But it's a testament to how close this guy got here.

I blind-tested musician friends of mine: no one saw it coming.

    Kudos buddy

  • @hyphen8nick

    Couldn't have put it better!

  • Its a nice piece of kit but there just isnt any replacement for the feel and atmosphere that a guitarist and his guitar can create.

  • @x7VenGeaNcE7x

It's a product that I sell made for producers, songwriters and soundtrack composers, especially where there is a need or speed of production.

The intent of these kind of products ( sample libraries ) is to help you to achieve quickly the sound you need and not to recreate the atmosphere that a guitarist and his guitar can create.

  • That was.....AWESOME !!!!

  • Awesome! Best guitar sound on keyboard ever!

  • Go slave over a guitar for 5 years and then come back and apologize you phony (joking)

  • Keep up the good work this is awesome! I am buying one! This is a life saver... I was going to buy Electri6ity for $400.00! Ouch!

  • nice!

  • Very impressive!

  • But what about palm mutes! :P

  • Awesome. Learn guitar commenters can suck balls, this is really good stuff here!

  • Well thats cool, it makes the guitar 99% easier :)

  • Good Playing!

    We Should Jam..

    Dr R

  • but that means i need to learn piano.....I'll just stick with guitar :D

  • awesome ... you are agenious for your compositions

  • impressive

  • very good .. (Y)

  • Now let's see you pull out some Behemoth riffs.

  • LAZY.

  • WOW!!!! GREAT! It sounds like a real guitar!!

  • prob cheaper to buy a guitar...looks less gay also.

  • I don't understand.....do you have to buy Guitar Rig or Amplitube to use this?

  • wow--ive never heard such good guitar samples before. if i wasnt a guitarist id probibly want this so much. kontakt has some amazing stuff on it and i discoved the sample editors and that-its amazing. :)

  • Ok I'm a real newbie with programs like this so can anyone tell me how I get my Guitar Rig 3 working with Kontakt 4 (where can I open it as VST/amp simulator)? And how do i setup my midicontroller playing sounds? When i open guitar rig( as STANDALONE) i can't get any sounds from my midicontroller when i play some notes. Plz I'm in a mess here! ;/

  • Oh my god, amazing!!!

  • can this be used with cubase, acid, fruity loops or is it just a keyboard plugin?

  • yeah

  • Comment removed

  • its a sample thats run through effects processing software

  • @thispagesux

Its for NI Kontakts, so yes the idea is to use it with Cubase orso :D

  • That Sounds Awwsome!!!

  • alrighty then, another reason to chuck my guitar into the weeds

  • @powerkor so you rather play stuff people did by pressing the right button that actualy playing the instrument? then guitar hero is for you my friend :)

  • im IN

  • Complimenti Andrea!

Bisogna vedere se questi puristi della chitarra riuscirebbero a riconoscere e a fare gli schizzinosi senza vedere che questo è un campionatore!! ;)

  • anyone who's likes guitar will eventually get sick to their stomach hearing this. pianos just make it sound too choppy between note hits. guitar vs keys=most vs least expressive instrument.

  • @RoboticusMusic: did you just say keyboard is less expressive than non tone based instruments such as drums?

  • lol no. guitars set the bar for expression. piano is louder, or softer. even drums will sound different everytime you hit it. I'm saying midi keyboards need a design upgrade.

  • certain midi keyboards are velocity sensitive which does provide a expressive point

  • lol you troll you. get back under your bridge.

  • wut cunt?

  • I love making music with both my guitar and my computer, this blew my mind. You are awesome sir.

I will definately be picking this up sometime in the new year.

  • the guitar as we know it will be extinct in like 30 years.

would be used inly for live shows.

  • This is where technology needs to stop because it will eliminate the days of talent and do you know how many posers will flaunt these audio samples all over the internet. Part of the most fun back before all of these new upgrades was that you built your sound on trial and error hunting down sound gurus who did more of a landmark than anything today because it took a slight hand of magic and glimmer and now those are true noises that can't be replicated and will always make your sound timeless

  • if you think this takes no talent to play those samples like that you are mistaken.

  • it takes no talent to use the tapping which on actual guitar at that level is fairly difficult

  • q3mk-

did you watch this video just so you could troll for arguments? some of what he is doing is easy but not all of it. I never compared the difficulty to playing an actual guitar, which is obviously harder. i've probably been playing longer than you've been alive yet i can still look at this video with an open mind and respect

  • @TheFreshPeddler: I was not trolling I was stating my opinion on a argument, yes this technology could be used well but simultaneously it could also help talentless guitarist pose as decent guitarists

  • im just saying if its something you have a problem with then why even watch and comment? watching a video just to diss the dude that made it ... now a troll would never do that

  • I never insulted the person who made it and secondly I never said I have a problem with it, read my comments again and i'm sure you will realize that

  • if i went to one of your videos and said that takes no talent then you might feel otherwise. perhaps you should re read your comments. end of discussion. let it die kid

  • no you have failed to understand, I did not say the demo did not take, nor did I say one could not use this in a talented way, what I said was one could use the feign talent at a higher level than their own guitar skill since some of the samples are much easier to execute than to actually play on guitar e.g. the tapping

  • ok lets agree to disagree and put an end to this.

  • okay whatever

  • @q3mk

    I agree with you.

  • Learn real guitar.

  • @FishStik5ive real guitar is piano dumbass learn to play with both hands

  • @morbidsaint1 using the fretboard and picking o that is 2 hands because 1 +1 equals 2 O NOES SHOCK HORROR

sir you fail and picking is just as hard as fretwork

i find piano a lot easier then guitar so yeaaaaa

  • @morbidsaint1: Did you just say guitar = piano and call me a dumbass? And last time I checked, you use both hands to play guitar.

  • again piano is guitar.. guitar is based of of the piano.. so how can he learn real guitar when he is incorporating musical theory of the guitar onto the piano... again theory that was created on the piano for the guitar..,..?? piano is harder way more left hand work ... so yea learn to really use your other hand...

  • Are you even using your brain when you type this nonsense?

These are two different instruments with completely different skill sets required to master. I'm not talking about theory or the music he's playing. I'm saying it's stupid for companies to spend so much money trying to simulate a guitar and for consumers to buy into products that do. It's much more rewarding to learn the actual instrument.

And what would you know about music theory? Your job is "doing my mom and thrashing". Pitiful.

  • @FishStik5ive

    Learn MIDI controller.

  • @FishStik5ive

I play guitar, better than keyboard! :)

This is a product that I sell made for producers, songwriters and soundtrack composers, especially where there is a need or speed of production.

  • Sweet! Good man!

  • awesome!

  • I have try some of your free library and I really love it!

  • nice one dude but can you get a big strap so you can gig ?

  • WOW!!!

  • incredible. o.o

  • It's really impressive.... but it's definitely NOT thrash. :D

  • it is samples of techniques common in thrash

  • Lol i picked up on that when it said Fender in the title. That's like having "Minivan Nascar Event" lol

  • @virgult

:) Thrash is just a TAG

  • @pettinhouse So I recently bought this and am kind of at a loss regarding how to do any kind of palm mutes, pinches etc. I figured it was something to do with velocity and modulation but the mod wheel only seems to change vibrato and velocity... well, the velocity.

    Any advice?

  • @AtOdinsCall

    Hi,

please could you write to me an email? I'll be glad to help you.

  • @virgult He said its a trash metal guitar, not the song itself, hahahaha anyway, great job, sounds awesome!

  • fuckin aweeeeeeeeeeeeeesome

  • tapping by holding a single key looks like a trick that is hard to believe. You hear variations (which is very logical) in rhythm while the guy is still holding down the same key and doing nothing else. 2 conclusions:

it's fake or it is very very inflexible.

  • ...or it uses aftertouch.

  • Where is the Slides , Tapping and such

    all i get is

    Layers , noises,releases,pick,strum

im using a pc keyboard i dont realy sure of key switchs

  • Write me an email.

  • Very nice, but can you do triplet palm mutes?!

  • HOLY FUCK. This is awesome... xD

  • sounds better than my eagle with my zoom g2...xD

  • sounds better than my eagle too xD

  • how to u use guitar rig with this?

  • Write me an email. YOu can find it in my website under about page

  • Wow very convincing!

  • I'm feeling very useless after that.

Guitarrist talking. This is SO saad!

  • i just bought kontakt 3 and all I know is that I wanna compose songs using this-i wanna jam! So can I get any cheapie keyboards that will plug into my computer and use that?

  • you can buy a cheap USB master keyboard from Behringer, M-Audio, CME or Evolution.

    Check them out.

  • They always seem to miss out on the earthy tones. Is there anything like this video without backing tracks?

  • nice

  • That's awesome!

  • AMAZING SOUNDS! Great! Very Original! Cheers :D

  • True simulation, congratulations

What's Amp did you use and which preset?

    thanks

  • Thanks. I don't remember what amp and preset I used. If I'm not wrong Amplitube 2.

  • how do you connect realstrat with for example amplitube?

  • Dou you need a real keyboard? Can't you use a simulator?

  • Yes, you need a real keyboard. This is a sample library for Kontakt 2-3 software sampler. You load the library into the sampler then you connect your keyboard via MIDI to your computer and just play the sound with an AMP Simulator such as NI Guitar rig

  • Thanks for the information :)

  • of course you can programm this with a midi editor..

  • Yes you're right. You can use a keyboard as well as a midi editor if you have good skill programming midi tracks

  • PRO :D
