Gibberish non the less. And no, he was not Hebrew,Muslim, or anything else. His family were of Zoroastrian faith. He was born in Zanzibar and grew up in India at boarding school. Being that both India and Zanzibar were under British control at the time of his birth,he was a British National. He moved with his Family to England at the age of 17 when they fled Zanzibar due to revolution.
He was persian, being Parsi Indian. He never sang in,let alone spoke Farsi or arabic. He grew up in India, speaking English. English being his native and the only language he was fluent in. This song isn't any language. With the exception of a few words such as "Allah" and "Ibrahim" . All the non recognizable "words" are nothing more than his improv.,commonly known as scatting in the music world.Translation- it's all nothing more than gibberish. Fucking amazing awesome sounding gibberish, but
persian zoriadist migrated from Iran many hundreds years ago and settled in north India as a persian minority and lived there for decades..so u can see that freddie is Indian fom Iranian origin(u can tell by looking into his pretty face) who was born in Zanzibar in africa and finaly settled ib England.. what a mixture! this realy had a magical touch on his music..
Cool, this song really grows on you!
