I visited the St Louis Arch 2 years ago. The elevator broke down when I was there. Fortunately, Me and my family chose not to ride to the top. Otherwise, we probably would've been stuck in the elevator

Actually, this might be a Dover, because the main vertical elevators in the visitor center and parking garage are Dover.

the main elevator was installed to comply with ADA. I can remember before it was there.

I went up in 1973 when I was 6,all I thought was it's like the WONKA-VATOR,really fun.Much cooler than the inclinator at the Luxor.

There's one by Schindler in Hong Kong. But it's an outdoor model and is built as an inclinator. Try and compare: v=gT-9oAcV-M4

Anyway, the one here at least has an introduction voice over. The one in Hong Kong doesn't, but instead gives a panoramic view.

I was at the Arch last summer but it was too crowed and two hot to go up in it.

I did that, It was so freaky because we had 4 Adults in the tiny cabin to go up, and it is VERY STEEP!!!
