I noticed Steve Jobs skipped the Mac keynote and focused instead on the iPod Touch, music software updates, and so on. No mention of the the Macintosh beyond it's intro years ago. Steve Jobs avoided mentioning the Apple II just prior to discontinuing that product, so I'm wondering if this similar behavior by him now is a possible sign of the Mac's potential demise. If so, there may soon be a market for "Macintosh Forever" t-shirts.

Rip off? well I didnt have the need to change the battery even after 4 years? So what are we talking about? Crappy sounding is not true, I have no clue why you are saying that anyway. The only iPod that doesnt have that good sound quality is the Shuffle. All the others are amazing.

Dude I had a PC that cost about 2,000 dollars because i got the highest vista and all upgraded graphics chips and i used it for gaming it broke 4 times in one year (thank god for warranties) I am now using a macbook pro for about 7 months now and no problems so how is it "iPOOP"? The UI is simple and easy to use it has great performance and it's blazing fast. Seriously don't talk shit about something you haven't used.

If it would be crap noone would buy it. Since they make computers from a smaller amount of hardware, they are having one of the best softwares ever.

People say its hyped cause if someone buys one they are all over it. And they are all over it cause it an amazing product.

He never made computers. He isn't the guy that makes i crap. He just teaches the IT guys what the product needs and knows how to advertise it. If Steve died Apple would still be fine.. wait actually it wouldn;t be.
