  • Une chanson rare. Tout simplement magnifique.

  • I think they should have released this song as a single. I think it could have been a number one record.

  • (and the original was more romantic....wth more original creativity, well, in my opinion...)

  • you should put the original version. This is renewed, sounds some cool, but the other was great!. The audio it`s not too good, barely i can hear her.

  • wow??/where is this song??? love it :)

  • Pat has the range over Ann Wilson. But NOBODY is as powerful of a Vocalist as Ann Wilson. Two different voices here people. Lets be realistic, they don"t make Vocalist like these two Ladies anymore.. Love them both!!!! :-)

  • @mspdayz Me too, Would'nt it be great to see them perform LIVE together?

  • I wish she would sing this amazing song live. I AGREE WITH YOU CHUCKFLEENER. No doubt!!

  • Pat is such an amazing singer...one of a kind!

  • The best female rocker ever!!!!!! Nobody is even close.

  • @chuckfleener I think Ann WIlson's voice is better.

  • @Heidi328 I respect your opinion.

  • @Heidi328 - I love Ann's voice, but..... she isn't a mezzo saprono like Pat. Go to Here's my Heart Movie version. Sorry, but Ann couldn't sing like this. She can't hit Benatar's high notes. Just listen for yourself.

  • @innamorata40

Honey, if you really tried changing your voice from a lower sultry verse to belting out "alooooone" in key you wouldn't doubt Ann Wilson's vocal range.

  • @riverlioness - say as you wish, but Ann does not have Benatar's range. Ann has a great voice and a close second, but just falls shy of Benatar's range. Please drive thru...

  • @riverlioness - And I never said I doubted Ann vocal range. I just said she is a close second.

  • @Heidi328 - Boy, people just can't read....Ann isn't a mezzo saprono, Pat is!

  • This is the original version of the film, I have original sound track by vinyl, 1984.

  • The version on the official soundtrack was different to the version used in the movie.

  • This is only the rerecorded version for the commercial album and the worst by far.

Nothing can match Pat's movie version (wich was never released) when Maria was seen the first time in the garden.. Goosebumbs all over my skin...

  • Do you or anyone else know where I can obtain the movie version of this song? That version is priceless! The voice is one of a kind. I may have to buy the DVD and have the song remastered on a CD for my pleasure?

  • @innamorata40 Go to Metropolis Redux. A great fella by the name of Gil has spent years digitally remastering the movie and soundtrack onto DVD. He also provides a down load of the soundtrack with Pats beautiful final song.

It's the best copy of Metropolis that you can buy, with a free sound track thrown in.

    Hope this helps.

  • One of my favourite songs of all time. I KNEW the movie version is different. I haven't seen the movie in a long time. It would be great if someone could post that version. x

  • Very nice, but the version from Metropolis is a classic unequalled. Thanks for posting it! :)

  • Nice. Vaguely remember it.

  • i love this song, my fave

  • would love to hear the Metropolis movie version and see the graphics from it. this song is phenomenal!

  • This song is part of soundtrack on Freder's version of the antique movie Metropolis.. The version on the movie is better

  • Could not agree more!

  • Great song!! Never heard this side of Pat B. before. Thanks for sharing!!

  • I'm a LIFELONG HARDCORE PAT BENATAR FAN; but to my surprize this is one song I never knew it existed!! I own like 99% of her music and a few DVD videos too of hers!!

  • This was originally part of the soundtrack for Metropolis reissue. Also featured Queen and Bonnie Tyler music among others.

  • The lyrics and Pat Benatar are a wonderful creation. It is beautiful song, specially if you understand what true love is about. It's the way I use to feel, then I found my true love, I never thought I could care for someone so deeply and need to be near so much, a risk worth taking.

  • superbe,magnifique......

  • I agree

  • does anyone have "Everytime I Fall Back" by any chance?

  • I keep wondering about that too....she's supposed to be hugely pregnant and I'd love to see it. :) (I miss the Ooh Ooh Song video).

  • pat benatar used 2 sing opera

  • Love a pat Benatar Rock Opera..

  • This song was released on the "Metropolis" soundtrack.

  • This song is from the movie "Metropolis" some time in the late 80's. It never got any airplay but really showcased Pat's versatile and underappreciated voice.

  • i NEVER HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE!tHANXS!

  • She could teach these young singers today how not to OVERSING a song!

  • she has a great voice but the song is better in the film.

  • what is this from? she sounds like she's 20 y/o...

  • She has such a great voice! Love this song.
