I am a hugeeee Alan fangirl and yes, I would love to be in Rima's spot, but they look happy together and have been for 34 years. I'm glad he found someone like her who he has spent more than half his life with and obviously loves with all his heart. I'm happy for the both of them. Although I dearly love Alan's performances and voice, I recognize that he is not a tremendously handsome man. I think he and Rima look like people who do not rely on their looks to make themselves count. They have something much deeper and are to be admired. Good video.
So I'm a little late however, I've interpreted this as Mr. Rickman being the beast only because of his characters. Ms. Horton is the beauty. Together...they are something to be appreciated for what they are...a couple that deserves respect for their devotion. Every relationship should be allowed it's own rules...who are we to judge? I looked up Alan Rickman because I think his character of Professor Snape is hot (go figure). I never was really aware of him prior. I just had to comment after seeing this. I am a hugeeee Alan fangirl and yes, I would love to be in Rima's spot, but they look happy together and have been for 34 years. I'm glad he found someone like her who he has spent more than half his life with and obviously loves with all his heart. I'm happy for the both of them. I'm not going to be like the typical fangirl saying "OMG that bitch took my Alan away" or something like that. He's happy, and any fan who really cares about him and loves him would be happy for him as I am.

Although I dearly love Alan's performances and voice, I recognize that he is not a tremendously handsome man. I think he and Rima look like people who do not rely on their looks to make themselves count. They have something much deeper and are to be admired. Good video.

So I'm a little late however, I've interpreted this as Mr. Rickman being the beast only because of his characters. Ms. Horton is the beauty. Together...they are something to be appreciated for what they are...a couple that deserves respect for their devotion. Every relationship should be allowed it's own rules...who are we to judge? Well I would be dissapointed if he was, this just shows Alan is anything but superficial, and shows how superficial some of his 'fans' are. Hell, why do you think they have lasted 40 years so far? No, neither of them is a beast... *LOL* Ms Horton is the greatest local MP Chelsea & Kensigton could ever get (she was my housemate's professor at Richmond university before she run for MP, btw.) - and she deserves her celebrity boyfriend very well.
