As I described the focussing option works with the joystick on the LCD screen. But to focus manually you have to set the camera on manual mode. By pressing the 'auto' button you can set the camera on either manual or automatic mode. If you have done this you can select the focusoption with the joystick by pressing it down. Press the joystick either left or right to control the focussing. The 'focus assist' button may help you to see which part of your frame is in focus. Let me know this helps;)
@jeroenzeegers thanks alot for your reply but just today i found out how to do it, ive got a video on my pae if you would like to see it i think ive done well :) thanks again :D
I actually don't know, I don't have one. But I do know that Everio sells wide and tele conversion lenses you can screw on to create specific effects.
So I think there are fish lenses on the market designed to fit on this everio hd6. But if you already have a fish lense I can't tell you if it will fit on the camera. If not I recommand you to search for fish lenses, which are specially designed for this model.
I don't know much about lenses but I hope this helps.
When you look at specs the hd6 is better. Most of the specs are the same but the hd3 for example has 60GB (hd6 has 120GB). I dont know all the differences, you should look it up.
But both cameras are great. Just saw that hd3 also has 3ccd, an import for an extern microphone, focus assist (focussing with some kind of joystick, works pretty good) and (almost?) full hd.
Im sure mines a PAL camera, but this depends on the place on earth where you live. I know that in most European lands the PAL-system is commonly used like in the Netherlands (where Im from). The USA make use of the NTSC-system. So I bought a PAL camera, but I dont know if there are any more versions Maybe in the USA or in Chili (where I see youre from) they sell a NTSC-model of the Everio hd6

Later!
