I did the same thing! This so serves Namir right for being a show-off. Just pick your gun up, fool. Don't flip it up with your foot and let it spin in the air a few times. It might look cool, but no-one can see it behind the wall of explosions going off in your face.

during the fight i just hid behind a corner and shot at him with the machine pistol and combat rifle upgraded with the target seeking upgrade...first attempt killed him :P

I was dying trying to typhoon kill him... in the end i got him while he was climbing the wall and bitch-slapped him... 1 takedown and he died HAH under some fucking seconds and i lost half hour trying to beat him with weapons

The best way to get him is when he's climbing over a wall stand on the side he'll land on under him and just use your augments to kill him it was like a 10 second fight

To add, for my second playthrough, I just threw a bunch of mines to the place where he's supposed to start the fight in the room... and as soon as the cutscene ended for me to have the fight....*explosion*kaboom*exp­losion* and the ending cutscene

@sixarmedtiger How did you do that without starting the fight by entering the room? And it seems like one would set off the others, so it doesn't seem like that would work unless you spread them out far enough.

@DriscolDevil i had about 100 of em in my inventory, i threw 25 in each corner and yes one would set off the others which is how i won, and lastly, boss fights are usually spelled out a impressively decorative room which just happens to have no enemies

And I didn't know explosive damage stacked like that, I thought it was just one explosion worth of damage for one massive explosion, not one for every mine. I'll have to try this out next time.

there is a way, when he jumps over the wall, tap the melee button when he is at the very top, you will one punch him dead, no ammo required, tried it myself, it may have been patched, but if it has, just delete the update.

you can actually beat this guy with one punch. you just need to get underneath him while he's climbing over a wall and spam the knockout button.

So they're basically as bad as the bosses in original Deus Ex, where you could kill Anne Navarre but just edging onto the train platform where you're supposed to fight and sniping her head off. She just stands there waiting for you to get closer to trigger the fight.

the only thing that makes him hard to fight, is if you got the new bio chip and then you cant even use your typhoon or any of your augmentations, its a bitch, seriously JUST BECAUSE OF THE CHIP he was the hardest boss for me.

@mtasoul REally? that is weird, i couldn't use my augs, i tried for like 20 minutes, it even removed my 'constant' augs. like i had the re-breather upgrade so i can be Unaffected by the gas, and i threw a gas grenade and it effected me. i lost all my augmentations, accept for a select few like running time, or health level, or defense. otherwise i couldn't use ANYTHING when i played.

Where are the videos showing people using the revolver? IT'S BULLETS FUCKING EXPLODE!!! On medium difficulty, with a fully upgraded revolver, I only had to put a single cylinder of rounds into him and he was down... I didn't even get hit with his plasma rifle once...

I evaded Namir until I could run up to him and use a Typhoon (figured out where he was landing because he likes to jump over the walls). And then, I just used Typhoons while he was stunned. About 2 or 3 Typhoons'll do it, depending on if you upgraded it completely or not.

I had a ton of trouble with this fight until I realized I could drag a turret in the room with me :D

Then all I had to do was EMP grenade and kite him to the turret and it was gg.

I don't see what the big deal was with fighting this guy. I beat him on my first try without any grenades OR explosive like weapons. I just kept shooting and ate health bars a lot. It's not that hard.

What did work was throwing out several mines from the elevator before starting, just over the wall to where Namir starts the fight. Then I cloaked and run like a bitch spamming grenades at the dude.

@NiteSaiya You need to circle the outermost ring of the room with Namir in your heels and take use of corners, timing his plasma attacks with your own attacks. He's really not that hard, even on hardest difficulty using a conventional approach like the one I just suggested.

I did something similar. I threw down a Frag Mine did a couple headshots with a fully upgraded 10mm Pistol and repeated that process 1 more time...Boss = Dead.
