I don't think he hates them. Or Metallica hates Maiden, because Metallica has preformed on Maiden cover CD's and said that Remember Tomorrow is one of thier favorite songs, and plays that live alot and said it was a blueprint for Master Of Puppets. So they obviously respect each other.
