I met Lemmy (VERY briefly) backstage some years back and trust me,he's no poseur ..he's rock and roll.

I remember Lemmy refusing to go into a Canadian interview for Canada's version of MTV because they wouldn't let him drink and smoke in the studio..lol

Thing about Motorhead is they don't pervert their sound to appease anyone or join in on some pansy assed fad of the moment.

I guess you´re confusing it with the ´swastika´ which is forbidden to wear nowadays as it alludes to the cruelty of the nazis though the symbol itself is an ancient one that was misused by them. they were good at misusing historical facts for their own profit and symbols. in another interview, lemmy himself pointed out that he´d never wear a swastika.
