@thenakedcajun I left about a week ago started hitchhikin to wisconsin, couldnt find any work there, did work for hambleton in HI for a bit but nothing steady, every one is going for cheap as opposed to local kind of sad. And it seems everyone works at stingaree nowadays and the restaurant just aint me

4 Months ago today and still impossible to comprehend. We spent the day on the beach a week ago, it doesn't even come close to resembling where I grew up. If you look hard you can still see the beauty but the devastation is just unreal. There are still over 40 missing people and the call center is taking calls on missing people from Katrina. The last few years have been hard on the gulf coast and they are recovering slowly. God Bless Everyone Affected by this Hurricane
We will all remember and we will all miss what we use to know there. I have many great memories on that beach. God Bless all who have love, lost and both to Ike.
I spent my childhood at a house my family owned on Monkhouse Drive. I remember the 3rd sandbar, fireworks, my first beer, learning to drive, fishing with my old man, and Mrs. Swedes carrot cake.I just can't believe its all gone.
Temporary gone, theres no way us crazy texans wont rebuild our little paradise.i just bought 4 lots on bowers lane and going to buy alot more.hope to be building by feb. plan on moving there next summer.god bless all who lost but rember if we dont rebuild it was for nothing. lets rebuild and show the rest of the nation how we do it in texas!
I spent most of my childhood in Crystal Beach at a house my family owned on Monkhouse Drive for 20 years. Im at a loss of words man. I will never lose my memories of that place.
Amazing how you said all the things I feel.... I had put together a similar video of some of my family's memories with my daughter singing, but your song is so GREAT! I love it! Bolivar has been in my family so long, it was a piece of us! Thanks for your tribute! I just love it. I'd love to have an MP3 file of your song....
3 a.m. thousands of miles from the Bolivar I so love. I am determined to go back, to do as much as these two hands can do. I will not, I cannot give up on Bolivar. Thank u for the song & the memories. God Bless
Thank you so much for this! I loved the video and the song wasn't to shabby either...haha It really brought a smile to my face in all of this adversity and sadness.
