@hiphopgirl2k9 A bit of both, actually. I copy (not trace) scenes from the movie to practice. For this particular drawing, I created it.

I dont really know if there will be a lion king 3 since that kinda of work of planning things is in different department, maybe a different building for all I know. I really only know what the next 2-D movie is for disney

what tool did u use to outline? how did you colour it like the eyes? they were brilliant

@LionKingDrawer I use the pen tool to outline. The eyes are tricky to explain how to colour. I make multiple layers, and use one layer per color.

at first i didnt like how you constantly shifted to other pictures for reference, but It adds a certain dramatic effect tot he main painting, also birlliant use of layers and pen tool, I can't really make heads or tails of that one myself.
