@IIproductionsII You can learn them all in a day using mock-ups called cockpit procedural trainers pretty comfortably, but you need to invest a lot more time to make sure you can pull them out under pressure. I like to go through them every morning to keep it fresh.
great ,entertaining video & excellent basis for a video tutorial.However.. as I once said to somebody else,of similar production,is it 'too much(freely available) information'?..back in 89,two young blokes from Lucknow near Orange attempted to take the Electricity Commission Jetranger for a joyride with fatal results for one of them after[allegedly] watching a movie somehow showing start sequence for the jetranger. Maybe iclude a footnote "NOT TO REPLACE ADEQUATE FLIGHT INSTRUCTION!"
Wow, My dream! I'm only 13, but i have wanted to do this since I was 8....I Have been working so hard at school just to get here...wow, I really hope that I can get to that position. Just wow.
@AussieAviator One would hope so considering it was uploaded by AirForceHQ. However I share your concern, I'm not sure CFS/2FTS would appreciate this being mainstream ...
@AirForceHQ . Indeed. I am the video producer that produced both 2FTS and 79 SQN flying training videos, I was unaware any elements of these were being posted on youtube.
Love this video! any more like this?

@cyclistpilot
you cant legislate out stupidity.
probably a good example of how someone else is apparently responsible for an individuals stupidity in this day and age?
its just a video.
curb your misguided drive for public safety messages and simply be amazed at a glimpse into a privilaged world.
TheDarwiniser 4 months ago
@cyclistpilot Yea because someone is just gonna wander into a RAAF base and just start up a pc-9 and take it for a cruise...

This reminds me what it was like trying to programme my new VCR to record my favourite show back in the late 80's. Flying...piece of cake.

I produced this 2 years ago, I assume 2FTS cleared this?
jpicard 5 months ago 5
@jpicard That was you who filmed this?
If so, beautifully shot - very comprehensive and I'm sure its not easy to get such great footage whilst actually carrying out the checks yourself.
Was this used for 2FTS coursework or purely for your own collection?
RHINOneSeven 5 months ago
@RHINOneSeven This is used coursework, and still currently is. I did the same for 79 SQN Hawks. Its part of many clips used for pilot training.
jpicard 5 months ago
@jpicard Disregard that comment. Do you still have the 79 SQN one?
aussiepride2005 5 months ago
@aussiepride2005 best asking the official channels if they want to post that. I do not have that authority.
jpicard 5 months ago
@jpicard yes this has been cleared for public release by 2FTS. Pilots that are between BFTS and 2FTS can use it to maintain their skills.
