You can up the imaginary antee in this poker conversational game of life, about how every new generation of teenage morons has to cleverly come up with new cutdowns, all ya want. Result? You look like the insult you're giving. take a break from mtv reality teenie bopper tv. it's not healthy
someone answer plz: I'm planning to buy a 42" 1024×768 HDR plasma TV and play games on that, instead of my 1440×900 19" monitor. So i'm curious if my 42"'s dispay will be actually less detailed compered to my 19" monitor, and if it"s only magnifying the picture. I'm so confused.
@TheDimsh ok your insulting of marv asking a question that NO EVERY KNOWS ( REMEMBER EVEN YOU were once a computer noob) hurts your credibility as a wiser human being. " dum question bud xD" you give all the geeks a bad name fucktard. now you just got back what you deserved. It's called Karma. treat people like you want to be treated. thus you told the world that was able to read your reply to MARV that you wanted to be insulted back. There ya go. you got what you wanted. it's done. even.
i didnt watch the whole video, but your first answer was most likely wrong. Yes, there is a copy right on some stuff that may or may not cause that problem, but its most likely that his graphics card cant output the correct resolution for the TV, or, in addition to that or another problem, the cable is too long for what hes running. Ive maxed my pc output to 17 feet.
So how do you fix it? I use the HDMI cable from my xbox 360. It worked fine 3 days ago (last time i used it) now nothing. Just a black screen on my T.V. Any help?
make sure the settings on your xbox match the settings on your tv. If you used a non HDTV and then switch it back you may have to adjust the settings.
no HDMI cables don't suffer from EMI (Interference) because the internal cables are shielded twisted pair, only signals running a long distance are really affected. To be honest though their is no image quality difference between DVI and HDMI.
hey, i have a question. IS there really a MAJOR difference from Monster Cable brand HDMI cables, from the other regular HDMI cables from different brand names?
No. In fact, there is no difference at all. I got an HDMI cable from Amazon for less than one dollar and the picture is flawless. Every HDMI 1.3 cable follows the 1.3 specifications which is 10.2 Gbps. The end result is based on the quality of your equipment, not the cable.
so if i hook up a "soon to be", ps3 of mine, on a full 1080p tv, with a cable like yours, there would be no difference in buying a monster cable that almost reaches the $100, other than the price?
Exactly. Monster cables are a scam. All 1.3 cables have the same specifications. The 1.3 specification is 10.2 Gbps but the PS3, I believe, only uses about 6 Gbps.
HDMI is digital, just like your internet. If you use a cheap ethernet cable to watch high-quality videos, is the quality degraded? No. A worst-case scenario is that it will take longer to load. This would leave the effect similar to a scratched DVD. Fortunately, nothing uses the full bandwidth of HDMI 1.3 so this won't happen.
I think that the information given about the difference is incorrect. Actually their is a difference between budget and expensive HDMI cables. However the difference is marginal because of lack of cross talk/ EMI.
If you're planning on running a very long HDMI cable > 5m, then you need to think about signal attenuation. An example of signal attenuation would be 10BaseT Ethernet can only travel 100m
First you should have already tried this possibility before asking a question and wasting time, and second windows media player sucks, we all know it.
i have connected a HDMI cable that i have to the tv i get the picture but i have a proplem getting the sound so i was wondering what i could do to fix this issue?
is there any difference if i plug my pc to my tv with an HDMI cable ???? but have pluged i with a vga cable?? is the same? should i get a converter DVI to vga? , DVI TO HDMI :( Help...

my camera has a hdmi output, what does that mean exactly?
jaedcapo 1 year ago
@jaedcapo that you can connect your camera with a high definition screen...
it usually works good on creating a professional projects so some people behind the camera must watch the full quality of what is being shoot.
or you can just playback your files from the camera to a high def tv...

video acceleration in media player, uncheck 'use overlays' and video should play on both screens.. this problem drove me crazy for years lol!

I would have thought it had something to do with an adjustable video overlay setting. Evil, evil DRM! ;p
