Why does Joseph Prince Ministries disable all the comments in their videos?
Truth will always stand up to scrutiny. So what are "believers" so scared of? I notice more and more Christians, Muslims and Jews trying to silence people who stand up against their brand of bullshit...
@GiftofGrace7 Yea rememeber the law is writen in our hearts so if you accept Christ as your saviour you will not want to sin and if you fail at times you will be forgiven. So long as your truly sorry and not think you can do what you like say sorry and thats that you shouldl follow the commandements as written in our hearts and should at times you fail and ask for forgivness you will be forgiven.
Before Christ. I agree we need God's law, sacrificial Lamb, we need a temple to worship God and priest. After Christ death and resurrection, God's law is in Jesus and His righteousness, Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God where His blood pay for our sin, our body is the temple of God where Jesus is our High most priest according to the book of HEBREWS (we dont need a priest anymore) because JESUS lives in me. I am crucified with Christ therefore I am no longer live but JESUS lives in me.
Sorry, what I mean I agree with Harrisonhouse. The law was given before Christ just like the divorce law was given to the hard hearted Jews just like Jesus said that is not the original plan of God. But when Christ came He fulfilled the prophecy and the law and died on the cross for us (sinners who impossible to obey all the commandments perfectly) That is why we need a SAVIOUR. Law vs Grace. Grace will always be the winner. Praise be our LORD JESUS.
I agree with pyramid. How come you claim that you are saved but murder or doing evil? The obvious answer is your not truly a Christian. How can you have relationship with Christ if you're not sincerely need a Saviour? The answer is your Christianity is questionable. According to paul in the book of Romans and Ephesians that we are not under the law (10 commandments) but under grace of Christ. Because under the law no one will justified but under grace we are justfied of His RIGHTEOUSNESS
I've seen prince on tv and I'm very disappointed. What with all the gimmicks on stage and appearance?all that's in the flesh and then I went to his website and I see one mention of god on the first page and everything else was about donations?
@luvmonkey666 , Joseph Prince's ministry is the only one that says it believes its viewer's tithes belong to their local churches. Also, no, they are not too much on asking for donations.
@pyramid924 Joseph Prince's grace message brings balance to what we've heard all our lives about salvation. Prince says we cannot possibly earn our way through works into heaven. We are not capable of living a blame-free life. Grace is a gift from God to anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Truly understanding grace leads to a holy life. When you know your relationship with God is secure, you naturally want to please Him. It's an amazing thing!
@HarrisonHouse It doesn't bring balance. Joseph Prince is a modern day heretic with a "recycled" heresy known as Antinomianism. He teaches alot of ancient heresy but this one comes to mind. I've heard him say that if you sin, there is no condemnation. So let me get this straight, a member of his church, has been going there devoutly for 10 years, then, one day, decides to murder his wife. Is that man saved? Then you'd say well he really wasn't saved. Why? Because of his actions, think about it.
@HarrisonHouse Salvation is BOTH a Gift and a Reward. Initial grace is unmerited, however, God has made a "Promise" that if we do good works, live piously, righteously, good deeds, charity, almsgiving, love of God and man, that we should expect a reward. Not in the sense of commutative justice, but based on God's gracious unmerited Promise. After the promise we merit reward.
"he is a rewarder of them that deligently seek him" Heb 11:6
"[enter heaven] and their works do follow them" Rev 14:13
@HarrisonHouse "...he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath PROMISED to them that LOVE HIM." James 2:12
How does one love God? By keeping his commandments as I already showed. Prince is a charlatan; atleast you say that leading a holy life is important, but the security is unbiblical, that's borderline presumptuous.
It's fine if you please God, but if one does not, they are not saved due to their bad actions. Prince teaches, bad actions have no effect either way. He's damnable
@pyramid924 My goodness, I seem to have struck a nerve. When was it that you read the book? Has it been a while? We actually debate the book in the office sometimes, with some of us on the grace side, and others on the works side. That's what I mean by balance. Sometimes works can be taken to the extreme as well. Pastor Prince speaks very well for himself, but since he's not in this discussion, I'd like to mention a few things:
@pyramid924 Wow, I seem to have struck a nerve! When was it that you read the book? Has it been a while? We actually debate it every now & then in the office, with some of us on the grace side and some of us on the works side. That's what I mean by balance. So often works is emphasized without fully exploring grace. I'd like to mention a couple things from the book, if I may, since the author is not youtubing at the moment...please bear with me!
@pyramid924 Prince does say that he is AGAINST sin – Pg. 30 of Destined to Reign says – “I, Joseph Prince, am vehemently, completely, aggressively, and irrevocably AGAINST SIN!” so therefore he is not saying that bad actions are ok. What he does tell us is that the GRACE of God is not limited to only certain bad actions. It can cover all. He also states on page 247 that “If your behavior is wrong, it is because there is something wrong with your beliefs.”
@pyramid924 We WILL be able to obey his commands and laws because we will be empowered with the GRACE to do so. When you truly understand His GRACE then you will not want to sin and that is what Prince does–always focusing on the cross and the work Jesus did for us. I look at it this way. Once I made a big mistake at work. Not intentionally and not because I wanted to hurt anybody or cost my boss money but I made a mistake as we all do.
@pyramid924 I look at it this way. Once I made a big mistake at work. Not intentionally and not because I wanted to hurt anybody or cost my boss money but I made a mistake as we all do. When I had to call my boss about it, I was completely surprised at his reaction. He extended grace towards me and even blamed another department (which I kept refuting that it was my fault). I learned something that day.
@pyramid924 It was my fault but grace was extended to me just as God extended His grace through Jesus on the cross. I deserved the punishment not Jesus. I was the one with the sin and mistakes but Jesus bore that on Himself so that I don’t have to live with punishment and condemnation (Read Romans 8:1 about condemnation). So did that mean the next time I only did my work half heartedly? NO! I wanted to please my boss.
@pyramid924 He gave me grace and I didn’t want to mess up next time. The same with Jesus – I want to please Him because of what He did for me by His grace. That is the lesson Joseph Prince wants us to hear. Because it is nothing we can earn – it was a free gift given to us because of His love for us and when we truly understand that, our lives change just like mine did. Prince always points to the cross and focuses on what Jesus did for us. I don’t know how that can be heretical.
@pyramid924 (This is in reverse order) and finally: We do suffer consequences from bad actions in the natural world but that doesn’t change what Jesus did to cover it on the cross. We will get a reward for our good works in heaven but our good works are only because we have been empowered by His grace to do them. Good works isn’t about pointing to us and telling us what a great job we are doing. It is pointing to Jesus and knowing that we are only what we are because of what HE has done for us.
@HarrisonHouse The problem is though, because Prince teaches sola fide, actions do not determine your eternity. Do you and prince believe in eternal security? Not that God's grace covers all, because I believe that. But, that if one murders, are they saved at that moment? No. You are correct in saying that Grace empowers our works and subsequent merit, which we configure to the work of christ.
Problem is though, if righteouness is "imputed", you did nothing to get it, therefore nothing to lose
@HarrisonHouse ..it either. Grace is good, but prince teaches salvation as a singular event, secured, after which, through joy we do good works, that have no "contribution" to salvation. This is not biblical. The bible speaks of works, deeds, merit [properly understood] & Reward. I've heard Prince say words like "Effortless" "Performanceless", this is flawed.
God's salvation is Law and Grace:
Called to beatitude but wounded by sin, man stands in need of Salvation from God. Divine help..cont.
@HarrisonHouse ...comes to him in Christ through the law that guides him and the grace that sustains him. Catechism of the Catholic Church # 1949
Let me ask it this way. Is faith all you need? Are the 10 commandments a requirement for eternal life? Christ said so. Are good deeds and "charity" required for eternal life? Paul & Christ said so. I agree with saved by GRACE, but not faith or works alone, but rather all 3 together. Prince teaches Grace & faith alone apart from law..Antinomianism...
@bearz Catholics believe that a person is justified by Grace through faith that is a living faith "working through charity" as mentioned earlier. Grace& Faith & Works; by works we mean those works of charity that are performed in Grace and by Grace i.e. almsgiving, fasting, prayer, feeding hungry, clothing naked, visiting imprisoned, helping the widow and orphan etc. What prince teaches is an ancient heresy called Antinomianism. If you sin, you lose justification. No once saved always saved...
@bearz Prince teaches, that your FAITH alone is all that is required for Justification and you are "saved" from that moment. Then, "because" of "being saved" you "naturally" will do good works, though, those works don't contribute to your salvation as you've already been saved. Furthermore, if you sin i.e. commit murder, you are still saved, because neither good nor bad works have any authority over your saved status. This is totally unbiblical. Grace is good, but this is craziness...
@pyramid924 Don't you believe that you become a "new creation" when you get saved? Don't you believe God gives you a "new heart and a new spirit" (Ezk. 36::27)? God gives a person a new nature when they come to Christ. Good works come naturally. But only when you really believe God has set you free. We are not saved by works. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."
I absolutely loved the book. I am also reading "Unmerited Favor". He is such a good teacher and makes it easy to understand God's love for us. Thank you Lord!
Mr.Prince's expressions of grace are easily accessible to others, and his symbolic depth of the fruitfulness grace brings, "on its own accord" is simply lovely...

The justified man is still bound by the moral law - Council of Trent
"...but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments" Matthew 19:17
"...living faith that worketh by love" Galatians 5:6
"But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected" 1 John 2:5
"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments" 1 John 5:3
"...but the doers of the law shall be justified" Rom 2:13
"For I delight in the law of God" Rom 7:22

Goes completely against the Orthodox and Ancient view of Law and Grace."The just shall live by faith" Romans 1:17
We are saved by Grace through faith, that is a "living faith that WORKS through charity" Galatians 5:6
"And though I have all faith...and have not charity, I am nothing" 1 Corinthians 13:2
It's not faith alone, wake up peoples!!
