I really love the intro. The body seems more like a combo piece - I would have liked to see less extended solos, and longer (and more, please!) solis with thicker voicings. Way to go, though - I was just struck by the thought that Donna Lee would sound great as a big band piece, and lo and behold! Muchos gracias por publicar.
Henry David Thoreau said that if everyone , upon waking each morning, listened to a a preferred beautiful symphonic orchestral rendition, insanity would be eliminated from the earth. Maybe too some Bird and bebop like this Tetsuya Tatsumi set, might do likewise. Nice tenor sax, far out imaginative arrangement, thanks for posting and congratulations.
