does the fisher f2 pick up gold and silver jewelry,relics,ohter metal things or does it just pick up coins?

Hey i have one of these it seems to work decent but i thought i would try a tesoro, so i bought a umax silver and it picked up coins where my f2 didnt and they werent that deep even. It seems that the f2 jumps around alot,but the tesoro will give you a definite answer and goes deeper.

Do you like this better then the Ace 250 if you know? I tried out a Fisher and liked it, not sure why I went with a Ace but I'm not sure if I'm happy at this point, might pick up a fisher if the guys still got it.

How deep does it go? Does it have a gold setting or does gold show up as nickel?

thanks for this post! if u are thinking about the F-2 get it u will love it ,masking is not a big deal,@kellyco.they have a side by side compare, run sens low 2-3 bars for me ,i am real happy w/ my new F-2,thanks this post helped alot.

I have a White's Dual Field PI machine for beach/snorkeling but this is my backup detector that I always keep in my trunk-- I love it for park hunting, and I'm going from a Fisher CZ-3D as my primary coin shooter. (I sold it to get the White's)

How deep does the sniper coil go compared to the 8"? Can you really find smaller items deeper? Is it more sensitive? Does it affect the accuracy of the metal indicator or vdi#? Thanks and everybody please respond if you have a 4" or even if you have the 10" what your findings are.

Nice video I was leaning towards a Garret ace 150 but after seeing this video I'm getting this baby for sure. I love how large the number is on the control box. Only complaint I have is I can't seem to find a plastic cover for the housing like some models have, to protect from rain, as I had a detector ruined a few yrs ago by a sudden down pour! Guess I have to use a unstylish plastic bag with a rubber band heh.

cant expect everything xszl. but on mine when you pinpoint which is really easy in the middle the depth is the big numbers that come up. and as you pass by the numbers will go up and down and stay solid over the target. but when right over target the number again will show depth of what your digging. so far very accurate. everything i've had read at 4 inches was at 4 inches.

My F2 just came in today. I'm going to the oldest Indiana town Tom. to see what I can find. If anyonw has an F5, let me know how you like it, I found one for 300.00 I'm thinking of getting as well.
