Way to make excuses for the fact that Ron Paul, the guy a lot of other GOPers hate, is actually getting the most from soldiers. Since when did this website or whoever counted up this information count military veterans as such? I'm pretty sure we'd only need to count people currently in the military serving because those are the ones directly affected by presidential and congressional policies, so they have to be very careful who they vote for.
I am a veteran. Presidential and congressional policies effect a great deal of my VA benefits. I am also a member of the inactive reserves - subject to being called back up. Just saying - I still consider myself "directly affected by [those policies]".
More military men and women support Ron Paul because he's one of the few candidates (at least in the GOP) that will be constitutional and cautious with the military. People like Bush want to send the military on no-win missions all over the world and get countless thousands killed unnecessarily. Ron Paul believes in the just war theory and knows when it's right to send us to war and when it is DEAD WRONG (i.e. Iran)

Yes, it's funny how the media labels him Libertarian for that one run. He has served in congress for ten - two year terms as a Republican in his state of Texas, so he is no "new Republican." As Paul says himself, anyone who is for liberty can be called a Libertarian, regardless of party.

As if the military is primarily concerned with ensuring continuing paychecks. 1 in 100 people in the miltary (if that) are going to make a life career out of the military. The fact that Ron Paul wants to pull troops out of all foreign countries does not phase most of the troops who are only going to be in the military for a couple of years.

Way to make excuses for the fact that Ron Paul, the guy a lot of other GOPers hate, is actually getting the most from soldiers. Since when did this website or whoever counted up this information count military veterans as such? I'm pretty sure we'd only need to count people currently in the military serving because those are the ones directly affected by presidential and congressional policies, so they have to be very careful who they vote for.
