  • thanks for posting. brings so many fond memories

  • @ayamediamond09 Thanks for your comment, greetings from Mexico City.... そして私はあなたのプロフィールで読んだことから、あなたが日本人なら、または日本に住んで、私は新年2012年を望む

  • Ouço Ray Conniff desde adolescente.Adoro os arranjos dele e aprendi a apreciar a música orquestrada. It's wonderful !

  • @waldik108 Eu aprecio os seus comentários e eu enviar-lhe calorosas saudações da Cidade do México

  • Great job with the video. I just recently discovered this awesome singer.

  • It's almost 2012 and I just discovered this amazing singer. Check out my intrepretation of his 1961 song "Because" that I did. He has such an amazing and beautiful voice. I love this song and discovered it because of you. Thanks 4 posting. Why didn't I know about this guy until now?????

  • @PhoenixxxStar I hope I am not mistaken in the interpretation of your comment, but not a single singer, is a choir or rather was a chorus of between 6 to 8 people, and not a single voice, is what characterizes the Orchestra and Choir Ray Conniff, the harmonious management of the voices and the rest of the orchestra ... Thanks for your comment ...

  • BEAUTIFUL, LINDO, LINDO,. FOREVER !!!

  • 1:11 to 1:14 the background harmonies are incredible!

  • For ever you"ll stay in my heart.......Do I know you for millions years??????

  • Cada vez admiro mais Ray Conniff

  • Ray Conniff...I hadn't thought of him in years but, when I was a kid I listened to him all the time!

  • @quibix The first 33 rpm record that I got as a child was the music of Ray Conniff, especially a song that is alive in my memory Peaceful .... Thanks for your comment, wishing you brought fond memories this tune ....

  • BEWARE READERS: blizzardman59 and AntiConniff is trolling the Conniff videos, with the sole purpose of insulting and denigrating Joseph Raymond Conniff and his music. He is both rude and distasteful....and loves the attention. You are advised to ignore the troll.

  • Simply the worst ...

  • Hello everybody

I am 64 years old and I love Mr. Conniff since my teens.

    Great artist, great music.

I would like to invite everybody to come to Brazil, where you will meet a beautiful music. Antnio Carlos Jobim music is a must.

  • make me remind my mother...so many years...thats incredible!!!

  • @LewBoogieFRESH

    God, how much intolerance!!

  • I love it so nice

  • easy listening piece of music>I'm a music teacher and Iknow what is good and what is bad

  • Crap like this is what gives the 70's a bad rap. Why in the hell would anyone ever want to hear a watered down, over produced version of a song they liked? Stevie Wonder should've sued.

  • @bfnputz Whenever this song is played i think of Stevie Wonder who really is an artists . A lot of written songs are played by various artists which includes Ray Coniiff playing this song . It's his interpretation and addressed to other people who like this sound . Don't get me wrong , you can't take it away from Stevie .

  • I love Ray Conniff. I am looking for "You'll never walk alone" by the Ray Conniff Orchestra. If you have it, please share it. Thanks

  • 100 star

  • Ufff, que bello...que refrescante..solo dejate llevar por la imaginacion y vuela en el universo...piensa en lo que quieras,,pero es algo fuera de serie...Dios gracias por darnos hermanos con esas cualidades...tu estas entre nosotros.

  • The best execution of this song. +5 points!

  • Wonderfull

  • His album covers are legendary for beautiful women. These records take me back to my childhood and saturday mornings listening with my late father who sang a lot of these songs in the 60's.

  • @wiltner

I think we live in the same era :)

my late father also play this every saturday morning .. now I can remember him with this song. thanks to ELCIDVIVAR for sharing

  • Ray Conniff, you beat the original Stevie Wonder version to the punch! As you know, Stevie Wonder is under Motown which is part of UMG. This is hell of a lot better than the original version that Stevie Wonder sang.

It was from a 6-LP compilation "In the Wee Small Hours".

Thank you for this one! :D

  • And I forgot to say, this version sucks! Stick with the original version by Stevie Wonder and leave him alone. I hate this version and I rate you a big fat 1 star.

  • @BrooklynMouseReturns

What a cantankerous fool you are, my brother. This is delightful performance (chops? wow!)" Steve himself would love it.

  • great orch. this is perfect

  • Ray Conniff es el mejor ! ! ! ! ! ! This sounds very much like the style of the Mary Tyler Moore theme, which Ray also recorded around this time. Thanks for posting this one ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

But thi song was written by Stevie Wonder Himself.

Ray Conniff just performed other authors songs, using his unique orchestra and chourus.

    A very special sound indeed.

  • wow...and i always thought that Stevie Wonder's version of this spng was the original....how interesting...

  • elcidvivar: me pregunto si tienes "If you could read my mind" me encanta como lo interpreta ray connif.

  • when music was valued as music not as dollars

  • gone is a time of elegance...

  • There is still merit in music today. They still need talent to write the songs and produce the songs and money pays for that. You are a bit naieve money is everything and it has been in what ever form from the time of early man. We need to be rewarded for oue creativity and work.

  • My comment was not meant to say music should be free, for I know someone has to pay the bills in the house, but i meant to say the way music is created now, the dollar and the personal ego/exposure is more important thant the art itself. I myself could steal music but I choose not to because the muscicians not only create but also work hard and have to rehearse on an on untill they get right.
