  • do you lift yourself up onto stone with your bony arse???(seriously)

  • what a dumb title

  • I'm C6-7 quad with triceps. It's easier to jump to the pool straight from your wheelchair.

Good video for those who doesnt understand, that paralyzed can swim also.

Today I had again "bad eye"from a life guard ;)

  • even paralyzed people can swim in a pool with salt water because the salt keeps them at the surface

  • stay tuned for monday in the car

indy car transfer by c-7 quad, into mini-cooper

  • Damn you have nice feet. I'm a para with para with a foot fetish.

  • that must be hard, swimming with only your arms.

  • actually it isnt, pretty easy, just need to have upper body strength

  • liek music is great!!

  • this is my brother he is parylized from the chest down

  • I thought Quadriplegic means the person can't move their arms as well as their legs! (Quad - 4)

  • As far as I understand Quadriplegic means that arms ans legs are paralyzed but not neccesarily completelly paralyzed. He can use his arms but they are partly paralyzed.

  • Level of injury is C 6/7 (base of the neck) paralysis line bisects the arms, strength in the biceps, but not the triceps. The level of spinal cord injury determines the level of mobility. i.e. if you break your tailbone, you likely won't be able to walk, but you'll be a Para with muscles and nerve network activity above the injury level. As you move up the spinal column with the injury level Lumbar/Thoracic/Cervical, more and more of your motor controls are affected.

  • MDSurfer - Thanks for explaining that to me! I'm not too 'up' on spinal injuries!

  • that might not last forever man ! than your attitude will change too...

  • That might change man ! Then your attitude will change too...

  • your vid was very inspirational for me, i cant wait to get back in a pool.

  • Well done, good video.

  • Nice tight editing, especially when you realize that there was NO crew! It was a one man operation from start to finish, that's why the scenes are long. Quality work which defeats outright the notion that Quads are gimps. Clearly they're not. Just get out there. And while you're at it, visit sexualrevolutions dot org to see a longer cut of this filmmaker's important work. He could use some support in showing the world what's possible for those with spinal cord injuries.
