Very fascinating game... It must take a lot of experience to be able to calculate that far into a game.

@SleepIsMagic Haha, that probably wasn't the best phrasing. What I mean is that the sacrifice wasn't all tactics - there were many seemingly quiet nuances to the resulting positions.

In chess, you dont have to calculate too many variations coz you may get lost, the idea is simple...the dark squares, pawn on g5 and the open f file is very weak so that's white's plan of attack, Im sure that Zhao Jun did not calculate too much for this...anyway amazing game!

@IBOUGHTYAMOM I didnt say that he didnt calculate it, I said, he did not calculate it TOO MUCH...coz for me its not so hard to sacrifice that bishop, in fact I've seen the weakness of black's position (but not the Qg4 thing), Im sure he shouldnt have much trouble seeing it as well...

@mckill2007 if you would have seen that bishop sac than you are a pretty strong player i guess.. i wouldnt have seen it... even so its verry complex, i wouldnt have seen it because something like that was just beyond my horizon i just would have never thought or looked for something like that, but i think i might be able to do similar in the future if i just look for it, it somehow really broadened my horizon
