I was saying throughout the entire game that Thad shouldn't have kept Matt in the game. He wasn't playing any defense and he was forcing shots in tough situations. To this day, I still can't believe he hit that shot. That game was our National Championship (since we were under probation) and we brought it home against #1 Illinois. I was in the 10th row behind the Buckeye bench for that one, and I will never forget it. GO BUCKS!

I'll give you that OSU has really been an underrated program since 2000, but I think most of us can agree that the traditional powers (IU, UI, MSU, UW) were still a tier above. But congrats, that was a huge win, definitely a lot bigger than UI-OSU this year in football because football teams go undefeated all the time, whereas the college basketball world was really witnessing something special here.
