Even if Luke convinced Noah to go he will doubt their relationship and he will doubt Noah and Noah's love for him. I would say this is the beginning of the end...

I get that Noah's movie opportunity is a once-only deal, and that Luke is being his supportive self and wants Noah to go, but I can't help feeling like the writers are missing an important dynamic. Holden has been loving and supportive of Noah ever since he realized how important he is to Luke. He's the closest thing to a (good, loving) father figure Noah has ever had. I think Noah needs to be grieving more than he is shown to be, and to be at the funeral for his own sake, as well as Luke's.
100% Agree....however,you may notice that in recent parts before Holden's funeral/death, they forced scenes where Damian was mr.supportive father figure and it always bothered me especially when Noah was dealing with his father's jailing/death and Holden wasn't there for him but Damian was, wtf?
The Holden/Noah dynamic wasn't explored enough by the writers... and would have not only been really enjoyable to watch, but would have fleshed-out this obvious side to Noah's character.
I think that Van and Jake are both terrific in this scene, but I wish they'd been able to have this conversation in the confines of their own home. I also was a little annoyed that Noah didn't know how the rest of Luke's family was doing because it makes me worry that Noah hasn't been around supporting Luke.
I think in an adult relationship you make hard sacrifices. Noah loves Luke and there is no question that he wanted to support him. LA is a once in a lifetime thing. If I were Luke I wouldn't want Noah to give that up. The funeral is just a 1 day ceremony. Noah totally appreciated and respected Holden. No doubt. Noah will be there for Luke to help him get through dealing with his father's death. It's not like once the funeral is over it's all good. Luke will be surrounded by his family.

I think in an adult relationship you make hard sacrifices. Noah loves Luke and there is no question that he wanted to support him. LA is a once in a lifetime thing. If I were Luke I wouldn't want Noah to give that up. The funeral is just a 1 day ceremony. Noah totally appreciated and respected Holden. No doubt. Noah will be there for Luke to help him get through dealing with his father's death. It's not like once the funeral is over it's all good. Luke will be surrounded by his family.

I can't stand the actor who plays Mason. He is so ugly and greasy and gross. He's always wearing the same thing whenever you seem him on screen. Plus, he can't deliver a line for the life of him, he's not believable at all. The Character of Mason is just as bad.

If you're going to do something that going to affect the rest of your life you should talk about it with your "life partner?" I've always hated that term, it sounds like you're serving a life sentence! They are young enough to be referred to as boyfriend! After move out of the boyfriend stage, it should be either fiance or spouse/husband! If we don't put a face on our same sex relationships who else will? This partner crap has to go. It makes gay couples sound like a law firm!

i'm actually now counting down the episodes till something shitty happens. God the writers are getting on my nerves - by the saving grace that is Jake & Van, its watchable. & full of sweetness...but cause of Jake and Van. Not the writers.

Noah doesn't listen very well does he? Luke just told him he's the most important person in his life, yet he's still acting insecure??? I hope he doesn't fool around with Mason on the trip and end up blaming it on Luke and I sure hope this isn't some stupid HIV story the stupid writers have cooked up. Mason isn't going to be around long, so this is not a love triangle. He's all plot, a completely useless character.

LOL You can give me thumbs down all you want, but we all know I speak the truth. No american soap opera will ever be able to portray a gay couple as openly or wonderfully as the european soaps because here they have to cater to the religious right bible thumpers or they will be boycotted. From what i have seen so far these two might just as well be straight friends. We never see any real intimate moments, let alone the amount of skin we might see from a hetero couple living together...

this is such a half assed attempt at a gay storyline. even kyle and oliver on one life to live has the potential to be better than this, but the beautiful love story of christian and oliver is still the best... i guess i am just spoiled by the open minded european approach to a gay storyline...
