i dont think he rendered it. you can see the 3D marker thing and the black lines so that means hes still in what ever program he used (3Ds max) just screen recording
no its not 3D max, its Cinema 4D, he clearly used XPresso and ThinkingParticals to create the "Simple Liquid"
