I can't tell you for sure 100% if it will, but you should be okay on the GPU front at least. Do you know what your laptop's specs are? If not, then you can probably find the model number somewhere and google it to get them. You could also go to the start menu, then run, then typing dxdiag. This will give you all the information about your computer you'll need.
thats interesting , i couldnt play it at all on my GF 8800GT , but i had single core P43.2 and 2GB ram. and it was impossible play even on low, yet Stalker 1 run on max perfect. guess its likes multi cores .

Yeah it has to be the CPU. That's unfortunate though because it's a great game and the rest of your system is definitely up to par.
