i have a vx too and there made from maple and basswood.

try ebony pinstripes for your next head.they sound amazing on a vx

I have a VX and there's no maple on those shells, it there were any maple, our kit would be a lot more expensive. Get some real info dude, if you go around saying thing like that someone may even fool you.
