  • i found a few cases of older canuck 12G #4 shot ,all looks to be in great condition but the box has a 1951 copyright on it? and it got a date code but i can't figure it out , its made in montreal canada by CIL.,there is also about 10 boxes of 20G remington ammo thats real old

  • i love shotguns

  • Would be neat to get a .577. While it's not quite a conventional shotgun shell... It's certainly the biggest. I think it equates to like an 8 gauge.

  • k thamks but i think i want somethin bigger than that

  • my dad said he would get me my first gun for my birthday and he said if i shot a 12. it would nock me down. he said i could get a 20. or 308 cal rifle with the options of 22 or 17 cal rifle what would you recomend for my first gun

  • forgot 28' n maybe 10ga.?

  • @beanerdog1

nope, this is a collection genius

  • also, i think he forgot about the 28 guage

  • @oolcat1

I didn't forget anything.. this is what I had in my collection at the time.. what is so difficult to understand?

  • @GunWebsites I want to apologize for sounding rude. I was just saying though. also, a random question, are the extreme cavity damage shotgun shells for home defense or hunting, sorry if this is a stupid question.

  • @oolcat1

not sure what you are asking about.. typically you don't want to destroy the animal you are hunting, so...

  • shotgun shells are king.

  • navarna is playing in the vid

  • 16 gauge is smaller than 12 not the other way around

  • my grandpa has a single barrel 8 gauge shotgun, i shot it and it kicked me on my ass so hard, i havent shot it since

  • i have a 32 gauge shotgun shell in my collection. also i have a 16 gauge double barrel shotgun and a remington model 1100 in 16 gauge because i really like the 16 gauge. i had a 12 gauge remington model 870 but i traded it in on another gun but i will probably get another 12 gauge because i like 12 gauges too.

  • there are .410, 28, 24, 20, 16, 14, 12, and 10 gauge shells. there are others, but they are rare or not available to civilians

  • Great videos thanks for all you guys do.

  • thumbs up for nirvana's come as yyou are at 4:30

  • luv your vids man but hey why where u shot by the non lethals i hope u where just testing

  • @unlicencedDriver999

yup, just at a trade show shoot, to see what it was like, lol

  • 28ga

  • fuzz balls hurt

  • @MrFerretlover wow! i didn't even know those wer ammo! i've got like 70 in my closet!

  • The reason a .410 is measured in calibre is because it is easier to say .410 calibre than 67.5 gauge.

  • I wish they sold electric shocker slugs with an adhesive conductive coating!

  • Sounds like James Woods

  • what do you recommand for home defense, I have a saiga 12 and need a good load. Should I go with 3" 00 buck, my local gun dealer said go with heavy turkey load? what do you recommand. Thanks in advance.

  • 0:5

whats the fuzzy pink ammo in the middle?

  • Also 28 ga is still commercially available. The older huge gauges such as 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1ga, which were once used for commercial duck hunting, are all illegal for hunting in the USA. By the way, gauge refers to the number and diameter of spherical balls per pound of lead. IE, Make twelve equal lead spheres which total one pound (454 g). The diameter of the balls would be the ID of a 12 ga shotgun barrel. Some would call it a 12 bore. Given the density of lead, I could calculate that diameter.

  • .410 and .45 long colt dont have the same diameter... .410 would be 410/1000 of an inch and 45 would be 450/1000 of an inch

  • @goalieslayer

    then explain the taurus judge..

how can you bore a barrel 2 sizes at once?

  • @smokeythebear13 i dunno. maybe cus ones a shotgun shell and ones for a handgun. i dunno why they fit but just by the name of the round they have diff diameters

  • @goalieslayer You can shoot the .410 in a .45 (in certain guns) cause the cartridge itself is .45. that's why the .410 slug fits inside the shell. You cant shoot .45 in a .410 because the bore on the barrel is only .410 and it wouldn't fit. The .410 has a larger diameter chamber with a forcing cone to direct the shot into the barrel. The taurus judge was specifically designed to shoot both.

  • @1979aerocaprice oooooo ok thanks man, appreciate that explanation. makes sense.

  • I want want to know if they make shotshells for .380 any more?

  • its pronounced sabO not saboT with a t

  • @gnomehater63

    ehh

  • @GunWebsites theres a 28 gague in between the 410 and 20

  • @telubreton

    You can't count well

  • Nice video. Good explanation for those out there that aren't familiar with how a shotgun shell works. I had a friend ask me once "does the red thing fly into the person and explode?" and had to explain how the shells work.

  • i want a shotgun that would look liek a cool hutning rifle id keep under my bed that fires slugs

  • I hope that pink squidgy thing isnt explosive...

  • Shotguns are win btw :)

  • stubby 22 :)

    lol :D

  • Well weeee dawgie catch a gander at all them new fangled shells in fancy colors. How do ya'll keep track of em? Patch and ball is all you need and keeps it simple and cheap! Here's a hat tip and a smile to all of you. Be safe.

  • 8 gag

  • 28g

  • What about 30g and 38 there smaler then a 20g

  • I can hear pink floyd in the back ground! :D "Wish you were here" If I'm not mistaken. Those handgun style and rifle style shotgun shells are pritty cool. Wish I lived in america. I like collecting ammo and stuff too along with guns but atm I'm struggling to get a few 38 specials ONLINE let alone the vast extent to what you have as a collection in comparason lol.

  • is that "come as you are" nirvana in the background

  • geat vids. im a subscriber.

  • I collect ammo.

I really wish I had some of these.

Can you explain what these (not in this video) shotung like objects are?

The look really big shotguns shells, like the size of a 40mm nade.

  • @MrThembones

in our vids? prolly the bottom of a 40mm grenade

  • @GunWebsites no, not in the videos.

and no, it looks just like a really big shotgun round.

  • @GunWebsites There is also rubber buckshot and beanbags ALS makes a great line of non-lethal rounds! Theres another round called bore thunder and it's extremely loud. Exotic rounds can be found through google such as armor piercing, flechette rounds, double slug rounds, pepper blast, pit bull round ( six 00-buck pellets topped with a 1.3oz slug), etc. Let me know if your or anyone need a link to find exotic rounds there are many!

  • Whats the best round for zombies. lol

  • @dmaximum a lightsaber

  • Does the barrel take damage if u shoot shotgun ammo with for example the public defender?

  • @Teufelsnachbar667

Almost all ammo is made from copper and / or lead.. both softer than the steel of the barrel..

So the projectiles (bullets) usually cause little harm / damage to the firearm

  • thanks for sharing

  • me and my friends found some shotgun shells on our local park

  • the smaller the number the smaller the barrel? i thought a 12 gauge was your standard shotty gauge.....20gauge is smaller.....10 is bigger?

  • those stubby 12 gauge shotshells are so neat! can you tell me where to get them?

  • you sound like james woods lol

  • well i know theres a 4 guage... as for an 8 or 6 I really dont know... but I dare ask... is there a 2 guage? or 1??? LOL

  • this guy really needs a script haha

  • isnt it the 0000= 4"ought"? and not "4 O buck" or "double O buck" ?

  • @DODGE21543

    0000 = 4 ought and 4 O buck

    00 = double O buck

  • Bumb a

  • u said 16 gauge is bigger than i 12

  • you have to be the biggest idiot Ive ever listened too I am getting dumber by the second from listening to you

  • @ROBDOWNEN

Then by all means watch the rest of our videos..

  • The .410 is ".410 Bore" meaning that it's being designated as the bore diameter instead of gauge. The gauge of a .410 would be something like 67 1/2 gauge.

  • i would hate to b the guy to try and break into ur house

  • i love 3&1/2 inch shotgun shells and they are powerful suckers

  • love the vid, i learned somethings. good variety there, you should make another...i'd watch.

  • isnt there a 8 guage

  • @FLYINGxFLAMINGxRICE

    yes there is

  • the gauge is how many led balls you can get out of 1 pound of lead.

  • what fps does that copper slug produce?

  • listing to nirvana lol

  • I want to buy a shotgun for home defense because my house was broken into (second time). Should I buy double 00 or #4 or what? I don't want to harm my neighbors obviously but I don't want to have to pump 2 or 3 rounds into someone to stop them and then have to explain why I shot so many times and be viewed as excessive force. Too many home invasions and horror stories of mommies and daddies getting blasted in front of the kids.

  • what abot 28 gauge, 24gauge and 8 gauge, there not that popular, but people still use them

  • @blowgunking1994 8 guage, i thought that would pretty much dislocate your shoulder

  • how bout the 28 guage smaller than the 20 but bigger than the 410

  • come as you are dude...

  • I bought some aguila 0buck today but noticed that the shell says 3 and 3 fourths and it seems longer than the shells I usually use....is this bad if my shot gun is a Remington 870 express whos chamber is marked for 3inches?

  • ur a dumb ass

  • Shit. All I have is OO Buck and dummy bullets

  • I'm fourteen and want to start hunting. Could you recommend a certain gun and round to me? I want to use a shot gun but if you think I shouldn't start with one I'd take your advice.

  • are 8 gauge shells like banned now?

  • @captenutty

nothing is banned in the US

  • ive looked everywhere for them and i never see them...

  • @captenutty

They are just outdated, not banned

Not many people used them and fewer now create any demand for them

  • @captenutty

cutlery is correct. the 8ga is just a dead round. i dont think its manufactured by anyone anymore on a mass production level.

  • @GunWebsites god bless america and our freedon to do say and have what ever the fuck we want excuse my french wait only pansys speak french

  • @GunWebsites not exactly.

  • @GunWebsites

8ga is banned for waterfowl 10ga is max size

but for deer or turkey its ok

goes back to the 1800s punt gun days

duck hunting with a cannon with bird shot

  • @GunWebsites are AK's banned in the US?

  • @GunWebsites lol where im from evry thing is banned even airsoft

  • @GunWebsites uuuuuuummmmmm yes there is it is illegal to have any shotgun over a 10 gauge in my state.

  • You can still get them special order from Cabela's.

  • Beautiful shells....

  • do u think i could do like paintball kinda with these

  • @wtf123456789100 fucking no. not without body armor :P.... an serious insurance... and a good lawyer....

  • Thanks for the video.. I need knowledge in the shells field!

  • at 4:10 nirvana is playing

  • Yeah, Come as you are, good ear

  • got to say 410 probably my favorite shotgun for hunting and shooting dont know why but it is then again i have a fairly old one i got from my grandpa wich means alot to me so that might be wjy

  • @ rocksock00444

Right on.. Heritage, tradition, family inheritance.. thats a BIG part of my interest in guns too

  • sweet

  • @rocksock00444 its great for rabbits

  • 28 ga you miss that one

  • @ wagner24314

nope, just don't have it in my collection

  • yeah i know .410 is refering to bore. i was just trying to name a few other various types of shotguns..........geez, some moody people around here.

  • @ knnthblntn1

No 'mood' involved, you make a post as if you know what you are talking about and type something wrong, we corrected you..

    Thats called conversation, not emotion

  • Nope .410 is a caliber , he's correct >:-]

  • you mentioned "various other gauges." i was just naming them incase others were intrested..........

  • @ knnthblntn1

    but... .410 is not a gauge !!

  • i dont know why the market it as such

  • 410ga 28ga 20ga 16ga 12ga 10ga

  • @ knnthblntn1

?? why did you post a list of wrong things?

  • 50bmg is the big guy on the block ...lol no offense

  • so for a .410 i can use a .45 slug?

  • Great video. I love the variety of shells that there are out there.

BTW, I think you mean made in The Czech Republic. Czechoslovakia no longer exists since 1992. Czechs and Slovakians get quite upset when you lump them together. I've made that mistake before :/

  • ok well, as I have said before, when my great grandparents left it was one country and I grew up calling it Czechoslovakia

  • great video.

  • @KYLEZ0R09 lol thanks

  • its called a "say-bo"

  • Nice video. (I also noticed Nirvana playing in the background (Come as you Are))

  • Comment removed

  • who are you talking to?

  • the guy below us ..

  • hey dartmaint why dont u post your own fricken vid then

  • pft, wrong

  • @dartmaint Actually .410 is a caliber, or bore. And 28 ga doesn't have a period before it. Don't call people retards if you can't even get it right yourself.

  • .410= 67.5 gauge

  • @pbkA5 wow...I thought it would be like a 40 gauge or somhing...I was far off...

  • what are the range of those balls at 6:58

  • not real far they don't weigh much

  • the new aa-12 can go up to 200 yards is that true?

  • those .22 rounds that have the bird shot in them kick ass

  • it`s only number 12 shot...and it has a huge spread...what so good about that...it`s only good for when ur fishin and u run into a snake..

  • shooting birds out of the sky jackass

  • good luck..they would have to b pretty damn close

  • I must be a good shot then cause it never seemed like a problem

  • why di you get shot by those rubber rounds?

  • to see what it is like

  • its sorta weird that he dosent have a 410 slug

  • Is it?

  • Hey can someone give me a list of most powerful cartrides from .22 - .50

  • Sure

  • dude i love your videos, very informative, but you seriously need to get a better camera the quality just SUCKS

  • this video is 6 months old using the old cameras.. but you also complained about the new cameras, so I doubt we'll ever satisfy your requirements for acceptable video quality ..

we appreciate content over delivery, sorry if that isn't up to your standards

  • Mr. GunWebsites,

357 or 40 caliber. I want to know your opinion. .45 is good but I don't want something with too much muzzle lift. 40 is a little bit better and has good knock down power. 9mm is too small for my taste and with a 357 sig and .40 cal you get a few more bullets in the clip. What say you?

  • .410 is 36 ga

  • Why didn't you cover exotic rounds: Bolo, Dragon's Breath etc?

  • Because this is a video of my collection and I don't have those in my collection..

  • very good video, I love all your videos, keep it up ! Btw i also love how you reply to allmost every comment . :)

    Have a good one

  • thanks, we try to keep up for new ideas and to hear what people are looking for

  • iv been told that 00 buck is best for home defence is this correct?

  • well it's an opinion of course.. but I think 00 is a good choice in many circumstances

  • its very good b/c its a 2 and 3/4 shell is like being shot 9 times with a .32 caliber handgun

  • .. at the same time...

  • there are 000 buck and 0000 buck which is only good in magnum shells but they produce alot more knock down power.

if you want to scare someone away use rock salt or #12 bird shot

  • isn't lead poisonous?

  • well I wouldn't eat it, but you don't fall over dead from touching it

  • about how fair do they go?

and what can you hunt with thos slugs?

  • 100 effectively

    Deer, Pig, etc

  • in a 10-gauge 3-1/2" magnum you can effectively hunt rhinos, elephant, giraffe, ect. while using slugs. the recoil isn't really that bad too.

  • what type of shell and shotgun can shoot at far range? plz reply!

  • slugs offer the longest range

  • I have a shell here that ive never seen anywhere else, it looks like a 410 but shorter.. maybe you can help? thanks

  • how short?

Is it plastic like a shotshell?

Can you post & link to a pic or video?

  • on the bottom it says 12mm, on the side 50mm, it is loaded with little pellets, looks just like a 410 but smaller, same looks red plastic and metal bottom. thanks , i wil send you a pic asap! thanks again!!

  • cool, but I still don't picture what it is.. looking forward to pic

  • Do you mean the one in the middle?

To me it looks like you might have 7.62x39? or some rifle case

Then a .44 rimfire (in middle)

    then a .410 shotshell
