@MultiScienceMan It was years now i played this game last time, so i don't remember exactly. It's usual "gear up" button. Perhaps it was Space? Anyways, there is no "trick" to do perfect shift each time. It all comes with practice (a lot of), and sound is important part in hitting the button at the right moment - with a lot of practice many players don't even need to look at revs to shift perfectly, others yet need to look but only for a brief moment.
Heh, in fact, made 32.82 on that track with career RSX - and without traffic (so only one bar of nitro). And it was only 5/6 perfect gears, also. So, 39.11, corolla or not, is really weak.
IRT CoolNASCARGuy: interesting? Naaah. It's pathetic time: my goal was not to do the time, my goal was to set up high speed. If to do best time, then several settings would be very different (especially gears), and i bet i would be able to go faster than 37 seconds. Perhaps much faster.
ekipsss: again, i wasn't about fastest time. 35.xx seems okish, doable by many cars. And i think that my career RSX could go as fast as about 33 seconds.
i always choose corolla for first car it's just the best. it's has so less weight and with many horsepower this car's just great i'm glad someone knows it that this car rocks
hehe my fastes time is something about 35.XX in my GTO xD I might upload a video of me driving it, without all unlocks without unique performance upgrades x
BTW, i made career Corolla recently. Sadly, unique upgrades won't allow any more max speed - it seems that gearbox ratios of Corolla are bugged (400+ top speed for last gear in setup, but overheat at 365+ in the game), so top speed is limited just by her gearbox. Too sad.
