People say smokers lungs are black, this is not true at all. Smokers have pink lunks the same as a non smoker the only reason they are black is because that they have cancer. A cancerous organ will turn black whether they smoked or not.

umm... you're a liar. any organ exposed to toxins (cigarette tar, air pollutants) will cause it to turn black.

also, cancers dont always turn black.

That's just complete rubbish, I happen to have seen some lungs (med school) and everyone has black lungs. You'd have to live in the middle of nowhere to have pinkish lungs, the air is too polluted to have pinkish lungs in the "real world".

Also about 80% of all tumors DON'T turn black. One of the types that does are melanomas and their secondary tumors, but thats just because melanoma's form out of pigment cells.

I think the thing is is you're looking at TV shows that the man does. The thing is is that you don't write new material for that.If you saw his live show the material is different. But also comedy is a hard thing to write...a very hard thing and you need to appreciate that sometimes it's just easier...though I will say not all comedians do it. Look at Ros Noble or Dara O' Briain some set pieces but most things change every time..thats just my 2 cents however

Yeah but he's been doing some of his jokes for more than a decade now. That's not an exaggeration. I think Ed Byrne has written some excellent jokes, and I can understand how when a comedian is proud of something it can be hard to let it go, but really Byrne should have let some his jokes go a long time ago.

Not everyone follows him around. For some people it would be the first time they heard it. I mean, look at television. They show a ton of reruns and people still watch them. Sure the jokes and plots contained in them are old, but that doesn't mean they can't be enjoyed. You're taking it as if you're the only person who listens to his jokes.

Come on, reruns aren't analogous to a comedian repeating jokes at all. And I'm not the only one who listens to his jokes, I'm not even the one who brought the subject up, that was eldarcmos. In fact, go on to most videos of Ed Byrne doing stand up on youtube and you'll find somebody has made a similar point.
