@GreenFrogVideos Simply the best, I am gonn abuy some! I have loads of old video and pics from the 1970s and even 1960s from my dad and uncles who worked for the C&O and Penn central up to CSX. I even have my own videos from the last 15 yrs sitting in piles in the closet. Some of your Penn central DVDs I gew up right next to the maumee rives bridge. Fished off of it got chased b the Conrail police daily .. U know poor kids need a way to get thereLOL. GOD BLESS you for ur great vids
This music comes from a professional music sound library--the particular one we used unfortunately is not available to the general public--no name is available!
I lived in Kenton,OH. from 70-74,and not only did I get to see the EL and PC action there but when we would go visit my birthplace(Galion,OH)we would almost always get stopped by EL trains going there! When we moved back to Galion in early 74 I could look up my street and watch EL and PC E units pull freight! Just wish I had the insight to take pics of all that. I still feel lucky though.
If you guys like the EL, (and who doesn't), come to the museum in North Judson, Indiana and ride behind Alco #310 painted in EL while sitting in caboose #345 also in EL paint, all on EL trackage going past operating EL signals!!!
I wonder where that shot was at 0:44 it could be Kouts, LaCrosse or North Judson Indiana. Sure looks like it as they had those style semaphore signals on those gigantic brackets.
Great stuff, thank God some folks have the wherewithall to film this stuff. I grew up in Paterson, N.J. near to Erie mainlines and then in PA near the stone built Starruca Viaduct.
I have this DVD I promise you won be disappointed its great will make you long for the olde days. buy it !!

Road the Lake Cities (Worlds Fair) Chicago to NJ only took 23 hours. No dinner until Oh about 1/2 the trip.

It's too bad it doesn't have a name. But if it did have one, I'd call this piece of music, "River Lines Serenade".

I'm actually curious as to the big band playing this song, and what the song is called. For the rest of the video, it's pretty BA.

My Great Grandmother was employed by the Erie Railroad, and N&W and EL are two of my favorite railroads.

Fantastic! I remember the big grey EL locos rolling through my town Binghamton NY.
The colors and logo made the trains look so industrial-cool. I miss them!
