  • Good science and bad science. There they go again, cherry picking what they want to hear, just like how they hold the big book of fairytales and neglect the nasty parts of it.

  • Funny how what god wants is always what these people want.

  • this is awful...makes you respect that my country is atheist.

  • @johauHAU which country is that?

  • @UltimateVenom finland.

  • We have a lifestyle that's unproductive to our society as a whole."

    You're referring to religion, right?

  • interesting documentary. Its usually when a large block of people with shared beliefs develop an agenda to force those beliefs on everyone else that the wars and death starts. I wonder how many people are going to die thanks to "Gods will"

  • I am soooooo sick of christians

  • @doobiesmoke15 What is it about us that bothers you so much? Bring it on.

  • Wow I'm a biology major, can i go there??? :D

  • "Should I dump my children onto Princeton or Yale?"

Seems like a better option that a religious school.

  • damn they can't have any fun// no alcohol. fuck man these people are insane. I wish they try to enforce that on APU students man it wouldn't happen.

  • Is that school accredited? Can their graduates move on to law schools, medical schools, graduate studies? I'd love to know.

  • @mwolfson86 Yes. That is why I posted it. It's one gigantic abuse of the educational system altogether.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion

Man this is like Children of cornnn...xD

  • It should say the nex gay's and bimbo's army

  • can you say "brainwashed"?

  • Every class is taught from a Biblical standpoint. For example, math class... secular institutions would have you believe that 2 + 2 = 4. But we know from the gospels that Christ would prefer it to equal 5.

  • I find these people creepy even if I were a Christian Id find these people creepy....

  • apparently we need to regulate homeschooling more closely >_<

  • AHHH!!!! How does one become a 'PROFESSOR of BIOLOGY' and not accept evolutionary theory?!? That's like becoming an auto mechanic and learning NOTHING about how an engine works!!! AAHG! Is this real??? Can you get a doctorate in biology and no nothing about biology????

  • I have a strange feeling that space colonization is gonna get screwed....

  • Are these people even learning anything?! as a country holy crap we are SCREWED!.. What makes this better, these people live with current technology and have modern lives because of the same science that they call bullshit on.. These people need to get a grip on reality.

  • I hope they get their accreditation revoked. I've been to Spain and a number of other predominantly Catholic countries and I've been treated very warmly and they always are very respectful of the fact that I'm not Christian even though the Catholics have been accused of proselytization since time immemorial.. But here, they don't care. They think Christianity is for everybody.

  • "Evangelical Christian parents choose to homeschool their children...they want to shield them from what they see as the moral decay of the world..."

Well, Jesus begs to differ: "Go into all the world" (Mark 16:15)

  • Bah that should have been documentary....I swear I typed it.

  • I see a Charles Darwin in the suggestions section to the right.....the power of the troll is strong with thee youtube.

  • Homeschooling ( 3:14 ) will never "turn our country around" because only the financially privileged can afford to do it. You don't see homeschooling in the inner-city or areas of poverty for a reason.

  • WASP camp.

  • bushes christian army killed many innocent people in the middle east. no better than the crusaders of the past murdering and tortureing enjoy your hell u so much belive in .

  • I find it hilarious that they are sitting in a college and some guy says that Christianity is one of the oldest religions. So...what did people believe in 10,000 years ago? Oh thats right, they only believe the earth is 6000 years old. Ok then, ill play that game. Even if the Earth is 6,000 years old, there are still religions older than Christianity! Try, every non-abrahamic one!

  • Makes me sick.....

  • I'm getting the hell out of this country if these tards gain any more control than they already do. We're doomed.

  • I would never let some doctor that learned pseudo biology in one of these schools operate on me! That's a scary thought.

  • Religion+politics+nationalism=Nazi?

  • Tell me what is less productive to society: a religion that is against joy, human nature, women, ethnic minorities (in some cases) and science, or two people of the same sex making love, consentually, in their own time?

  • I wonder what it is exactly that they want to change. I mean, they're basically admitting they want to take over Washington, but to what end. We can only assume they want to take away a woman's right to choose, probably outlaw homosexuality, put prayer in schools, put the ten commandments up everywhere.

They want to take away freedom.

Religious fanaticism combined with patriotism is a dangerous thing.

  • @MrJohnnyrace again you can't find an authority. you can talk junk on youtube but in an accedemic debate your oppinion doesn't mean squat until you can back it up. so far i'm the only one who has made an effort to do so. let us see you at least try. the problem people have with the gospel stems from the fact that if they did beleive that the bible was true then everything that they live for is wrong. scientific theory keeps open all possibilities and looks and them even handedly. tbc...

  • @TheFlyingScott100 you have already thrown out the possibility of creation before you even start. therefore you are not being scientific and thus your whole case of scientific theory falls apart. pls respond in a fairly accedemic way pls.

  • @MrJohnnyrace is that the best you can do? Have you been to college? If your going to make a claim back it up. I have no reason to take what you say at face value. either state your credentials or site some body else who is an authority. Then i can start to take what you say seriously.

  • @MrJohnnyrace look it up where on wikipedia. I'm talking scientific journals.did you know that the worlds foremost brainsurgen, Benjamin Carson, does not beleive in the fairy tail of evolution. he is a self made man. in his book he says that evolution is filled with problems and that scientists themselves often don't beleive in their own theory. thats why they keep coming out with new ones. read his book. Find something to back it up the theory of evolution. I want to see a credible source...

  • @TheFlyingScott100 First, scientific journals don't claim anyone as the "worlds foremost brain surgeon." Second, it does not matter what one doctor thinks - a doctor is educated on human anatomy and medicine - not biology. Third, those very scientific journals you referenced earlier have not a single paper which conflicts with the theory of evolution. Lastly, most ironically, you demand credible sources after telling people to look at those very sources which are contrary to your position. Wow.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion First - agreed. I was going to put "one of the worlds formost brain surgeons" but i forgot to. my apologees. 2nd - i was just giving a specific example. something no body else has done so far. 3rd - give me a little time and i will produce research. 4th - what are you talking about? how can you say that every source is contrary to my position. I think thats a little arrogent and just very wrong. i will find good hard peices of evidence and bring them up later.

  • @TheFlyingScott100 "how can you say that every source is contrary to my position" Because not a single scientific journal has ever included anything that which somehow disproved evolution. Thus, it's not an arrogant or incorrect statement at all. Every single peer-reviewed scientific study—EVER—has shown evolution to be true. In fact, it has more supporting evidence than any other theory in the history of science. You've been lied to and I suggest you start examining your sources closer.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion wrong. i had respect for you and your ability to be a tiny bit objective. but your obvious hate of christianity has blinded you from the truth. liscen to the ridiculousness of that statement. you sir are a fool and i have no respect for fools who make sweeping generalizations and use that to back of the logical fallaicy of a group think. what ur essentially saying is that everyone agrees with me (wich is wrong) there fore i am right. illogical.

  • @TheFlyingScott100 No, what I am saying was said very clearly in my earlier comment. "not a single scientific journal has ever included anything that which somehow disproved evolution." If you can dispute this claim, please show me a peer-reviewed scientific journal which has published anything which disproves evolution. Otherwise, acknowledge reality and stop writing off these "facts" as mere "hate." Your understanding of unbiased objectivity is clearly empty.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion ok tell me how? if its clear, tell me where it is wrong. you keep making claims urself but you can't back it up.explain to me where my " understanding of unbiased objectivity is clearly empty". you just throw that out there and don't back it up. as for the scientific journal i'm working on it. its hard to get a hold of a good selection of journals.

  • @TheFlyingScott100 The empty nature of what you consider "your objectivity" was proven the moment you said evolution is actually still in question BECAUSE, as I also explained, there has never been a single experiment or peer-reviewed study which concluded that evolution was not correct. Uh, every single respected scientific journal is online. Your problem isn't with finding journals; it's finding anything which could remotely be construable as "disproving evolution." Good luck with that.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion how is it not objective to question something. just because the majority of people beleive something does not make them right. dude you obviosly have never done any good research. for many of the good journals you have to have pay money as a subcriber. you know i'm disapointed in you. you really aren't as hard to come up against as i thought. give me a challange pls. i mean you deticated a channel and a huge part of ur life to trying to prove people wrong.

  • @TheFlyingScott100 Well objective is the wrong word. I think you mean skeptical? At any rate, there is no "belief" involved in evolution at all BECAUSE of the evidence in the very scientific journals you referred to!

Questioning is fine, but to question the existence of evolution at this point is LITERALLY equivalent to questioning the existence of WATER.

Yes, most journals do cost money. However, anything of massive importance is generally available in full on scholar.google.

    Challenge? Ok.

  • I think their liberation from "the law" means liberation from old testament law, not secular law. I saw this documentary years ago and it is scary. The worst part about it is that these kids are all getting into politics. Our country is in serious danger from these people and worst part is that most Christians don't understand how far apart their theology is from these people. So they support it thinking they are all "Christian" when they are at polar opposites.

  • this is so alarmist its hilarious! have any of you ever talked to someone who has gone to this college? Its easy to edit a bunch of videos to make stuff look the way you want it to work. IF you have any questions about the college take some time and visit. be intelligent do some research. don't be mindless. think and use your minds.

  • no person that believes in god/superheros/magic(they are all imaginary) should be anywhere any kind of leadership role on any scale

  • @giam333 tell that to Constantine, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, John Adams, Ronald Reagan, ect....ect...ect... this list goes on and on... tell me none of these people should be a leader.

  • lincoln, washington and adams didn't have the benefit of the evidence that proves evolution when they were elected as for the other names mentioned i am sure that the large majority of them were not fundamentalist christians. george w. bush would be the name that i use to combat all the former presidents that you have above mentioned.

  • @giam333 do you even know what you mean by "fundamentalist" christian? you use it as derogatory yet i all it means is someone who holds to the fundementals of Christianity. Its not bad and i fully accept that label. that said, first off you must accept that evolution is fact. if you look it up anywhere you will find it defind as a theory. there is no no shuch thing as "Darwin's Law of Evolution" in any scientific journal. Don't you find this significant?

  • @giam333 Secondly, your going to play the Geoge Bush card. There should be a fallacy based on howmany times people pull that card. its like the racism card. people think that it trumps everything if you pull it. how illogical is it to base ur whole case against something on one person. i'm going to have to say that you should be able to do better than that and i look forward to seeing it..

  • For what's it's worth, I am a Christian and I am ashamed of most Christians in the world today. I would like to see the paychecks from the president of this college. Not to mention, by having the students sign a piece of paper stating they will abstain from sin, mocks God in every way. If you really are born-again, you will want to refrain from sin without signing some piece of paper. I sincerely apologize to all of you. F.Y.I. most Christians are not really Christians.

  • @4realchristian Then by your own logic, your probably not a christian. And every other christian thinks your not really a christian. one of the oldest fallacies in the book 'the no true Scotsman' fallacy. Look it up you might see how ridiculous your comment is on reflection.

There is no -one on the planet who can give you a clear definition of their 'faith', and not have someone of the same 'faith' contradict it, stating as you did 'their not a real ___". Arrogance at it's worst!

  • I cant accept that this is real. Please tell me it's a sick joke.

  • OK this is as scary as Jesus Camp. So how long do you think we have before they start putting people like me who disagree to the flame?

  • Just listen to the amount of jealous ppl on this posts. WOW! Calling good evil and evil good. There is absleloutly nothing good abt being exposed to the sins of the world. as Christians we r to be separate from the world not be part of it. I'm very proud of these students im abt their age, i was home schooled and let me tell u im 1 of the most intelligent students in my college class and its not even a Christian college! Every knee will bow 2 Jesus Christ! King of kings and Lord of lords!

  • @HelloWorld1947 Is 1947 your birth year?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion-No, thats what YT gave me as an option to put for my YT account : )

  • Ever heard of Liberty University? Anyone?

  • This shit is scary!

  • So basically it is a "shool" for kids who have been brainwashed all their lives by their fundie parents during homeschooling that ensures that the kids will continue to be brainwashed even after they leave their parents house.

    That is some scary shit.

  • CULT -_-

  • oh shit those teenagers are going to become the next kent hovinds.

  • I hs my children and not one of them are involved in anything like you people have suggested. And yes my curriculum was academic and based on Creation. We are a Christian family and it as amazing how you all THINK you know something about hs and its effects. You know nothing.

  • @TruthseekerGirl If your cirriculum is based on creation, it's not EDUCATION, it's BRAINWASHING. What do you not understand about this? Creation was ruled by a court to be NON-SCIENTIFIC. Again, what do you not understand about this?

One day I will stand before god? My nervous system is required for that, so if you're suggesting I might one day float off into space to have a meeting with an invisible man, you have no right to be educating children - OBVIOUSLY you're mentally INSANE.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion So anyone who disagree with you is uneducated. You fucking people scare the shit out of me.Your fucking right a parent has the right to homeschool thier own child. As long as they are'nt teaching them to physically harm another human being thats fine. But if a parent want to teach thier child that murdering an unborn child is wrong you leftist cant stand it.Thats where your hypocritical. You leftist cant stand that people think differently than you.leftist want total control

  • @jays2474 You claimed "even non-believers say Jesus' words are great to live by!", and I called you uneducated because you prove you've never read the bible. If you knew everything Jesus said, you would never say this.

Mark 7:10 As Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.'

Or Luke 14:25-27 where he said you should hate everyone, including yourself?

Or Matt 12:30, anyone not with me is against me?

    Shall I go on?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion They say the same thing about the ten commandments. What are you talking about when you homeschool your child.A parent has the right to homeschool thier OWN child because its america. You say its brain washing. What is it the far left does? You raise your child to be a productive member of society. When they get older they draw thier own conclusions.Again,Far leftist want total Power.Im not debating the incredible violence in the bible.Im talking about freedom.

  • @jays2474 If I did homeschoole[hs] my child (though I don't have one) I would hs them on the curriculum and nothing else. A parent does have the right to hs their child - fully agree. However, when christian parents chose to hs thier kids solely to alter the cirriculum and include myth-based religious dogma, what good is that? Did you see a different docu than the rest of us, or what? They're not raising them to be productive humans--they're raising *religious politicians*, don't u get it?

  • @YourBrainOnReligion That being said,I feel evolution is a great plausable theory. It does'nt explain where all of it started. The big bang does'nt explain anything. It takes faith in my opinion to belive in the big bang theory. If you have pieces to a puzzle(creation)you can have all kinds of theories. The most important piece is the first one.Science cant answer that.We are'nt shit in the big picture. There is something bigger than us.If a christian insults you for your beliefs thier not christians.

  • @jays2474 The big bang is the only theory that explains all of the information we have about our universe. It does not take faith to understand information and try to come up with a way to explain this information using only natural explanations. If such an explanation is plausible and falsifiable, and is then proven to actually be true through accurate prediction power or other means, that is when it becomes a theory. You confuse hypothesis (educated guess) with a theory (proven concept).

  • @jays2474 Science can answer the first steps of both how life came to exist AND the origins of our universe. You simply haven't endulged yourself in enough valid scientific information to form an educated or rational opinion on the matter.

If you're interested in evolution and abiogenesis, see this BBC documentary about cells. It shows how we know what we know and shows you first-hand the experiments used to learn these things: topdocumentaryfilms(.)com/cell

    It's an excellent watch.

  • @YourBrainOnReligion If a parent HS thier child on the curriculum and children do as well as public school children who cares. Its their child your brain. If they are'nt teaching thier child to physically harm another human being. When the child reaches the adult age they can reach thier own conclusions. Both of my children go to public school here in ohio. Some california public schools had kids singing praise hymes to obama whats the difference? They praise thier God President obama I praise mine.

  • @jays2474 No, I fully disagree. Just because you have a child does not make it YOUR brain. Children are not cars. You build a car, it's yours and you can do what you want - agreed. Children, however, are living, breathing, feeling individuals who can have their minds filled with utter lies and be brought up to do extremely heinous things. If you're filling a childs head with "this book was inspired by god", how is that allowing them to come to their own conclusions as an adult???

  • @jays2474 LOL now you're just repeating republican/tea party talking points on the singing hymes crap. You honestly think this is some state-wide phenomenon because ONE person does it? I'm sorry man, but you really need to start exercising a little bit more critical thinking. Just because Rush Limbaugh told you that Obama is a nazi doesn't make it true. I don't care for the guy by any means and think he's Bush Part 3, but come on man.

  • @jays2474 "Some california public schools had kids singing praise hymes to obama whats the difference?"

    Got proof?

  • @TheHigherVoltage It was a single class. They just make it out to sound like it was the entire state. (Classic republicunt propaganda)

  • @jay "Your fucking right a parent has the right to homeschool thier own child. As long as they are'nt teaching them to physically harm another human being thats fine." Again, proving you know shit about the bible. Are you honestly suggesting the bible teaches tolerance for others? What's the bible say at 2 John 1:10 ?

What about people of other reilgions? What are they instructed to do? Let's check the bible, shall we? Deuteronomy 13:12-16, Deuteronomy 17:2-7, Exodus 22:20... hm?

    Go read.

  • @jays2474 LOL hey bud I just got your other message and although I disagree I apologise to lol. What it boils down to is thisWe arent going to agree on this lol.I do however agree with you about religion, but not what christ said.Religion is corrupt. It is full of hypocrite.Christ wasnt corrupted. This is my personal belief.

  • @jays2474 Your personal belief based on WHAT? The sole testament of jesus IS the bible and if the bible itself shows that he's the epitome of a cult leader, then what the fuck ??? how are you simply going to choose to turn your cheek??

    Again, with all respect....

  • @YourBrainOnReligion on a lighter note GO BUCKEYE'S lol.Sure I dont argue that it took years before christianity wasnt considered a cult. They also say energy cant be destroyed.Where does it go?I believe there is a higher intelligence(which I believe God or christ)Is where we are judged for our lives. You dont have to believe it.Im not some idiot because of this.I have faith in it.Evolution is a theory still.

  • @jays2474 Gravity is also "only" a theory. A "theory" is the highest regard a concept can get in science. If you're under the impression that it should be a "law", you misunderstand the application of these words (as a law is reserved for mathematically-based laws, not abstract concepts. Think of a theory as an "abstract law.")

Energy can't be destroyed, but it can be converted - it simply changes form.

Evolution isn't supposed to explain the beginning of life - that's called abiogenesis.

  • People are aloud to think differently than you.Thats the problem with the far left.Home schooling is a great example of your hypocracy. You extreme left wingers want TOTAL CONTROL.If you get rid of god the only thing man can rely on is man.Young people who dont want to drink or smoke. What evil they are lol. These people believe in god so what.Leftist put thier faith in other things.Thats america people.Embrace it.Or go somewhere els.I embrace the fact that we are different even you of opposition.

  • The churches that are involved politically are the churches that put forth a far leftist agenda.Obama's church is a great example.I know I'll hear it from ya but who gives a shit. You leftist anti christianity people are the biggest fucking hypocrites I have ever seen in my life.Your rediculous documentaries are laughable.Even reasonably thinking non believers say that the words of jesus christ are a GREAT way to live your life. You dont want home schooling because YOU leftist cant have control.

  • @jays2474 Lastly, I don't want homeschool because it should be illegal to brainwash your children with fallacious myths and other misinformation presented as verifiable facts while preventing them from every having the ability to verify these things. Parents who go to the extent of homeschooling their children also commonly restrict their freedoms to information IN GENERAL. Apparently this is OK with you? Because THEY gave birth to the child, they should be able to turn it into a robot?!?!

  • @YourBrainOnReligion One day you will stand before God and then say these things. Parents have the right to educate their own children. It is none of anyone's business. But its okay to educate the in the LIES of evolution? Go away fool.

  • @TruthseekerGirl Lastly, what is with people named "Truthseeker" who want anything BUT the truth? Why don't you change your name so it's more approrpriate, to something like--I don't know--ConfirmationBiasSeeker. If you don't know what confirmation bias is either, which would not surprise me in the least, head your stupid ass over to google and educate yourself. The first step to any kind of recovery is acknowledgment of a problem. Your cognitive biases have blinded you deeply.

  • scary shit!

  • These people remind me of North Koreans.

The "teachings" they take from the bible are highly selectively. There is no way anyone can live 'biblically', as they would be dead or arrested before the end of the first day.

  • Apart from really... god giving it to me 4:17 LOL

  • This is frightening, and also extremely sad. The girl who was about to cry made me very sad. I was home schooled and thank goodness my christian parent thought it would be okay for me to attend a secular community college around the age of 16. Who knows how I would have turned out if I hadn't. D:

  • oh these women are so unattractive because of their delusions

  • YourBrainOnReligion FAIL! The EA = Electric Anti-Christ and Hell is Not a Game protesters were fake, planted by EA for publicity. ;-) (j/k, that wasn't a fail and you probably knew that already)

  • the day they set foot outside that school or home they will do a 180*

  • When I was this video, I can't help but think that I'm looking at drug addicts looking to not only feed their addiction, but spread it to others. How horrifically disturbing. On that note, today I was making a call at a pay phone. As soon as I ended the call there was a Jehovah Witness standing there offereing me a flyer about alcohol. And I couldn't help but laugh. All I said to her was "Trying to make people trade one bad habit for another" and tore up the flyer. She was shocked. Ironic.

  • @Darkconis u were this video!?

  • Personally I think monotheism is really just depending on (through worship) an external force to provide spiritual consolation in their barren lives. They can't depend on themselves so they look to the stars to be exalted. I don't dismiss the notion of a God, but I can't prove it, nor do I feel the inclination to prove it. As modern Christians worship God and follow his ethical principles to steer their lives into safety, I feel that they are depending on an immaterial being to cushion them.

  • This exposes a truly disturbing. Trashing truth in favor of mythology.

  • This is really disturbing in any ways but I'll take 'our' fundies over all those Islamic nutcases any day and twice on Sunday.

  • The BEST part of college were the parties!! Of course I did get my degree in Nursing but the parties make up 'the memories' (minus a few black outs, lol, I have pictures to remember those)

  • when he says "the law", he means the law of the old testament. and the stonings were of the old testament... they were part of the law of the OT... Christ died so nobody had to :)

  • Christian Madrassas.... nothing more.

That said a lot of home schooled kids are not indoctrinated - many free thinkers raise their kids outside of the state school system - which is basically geared towards creating a submissive workforce for corporations...

These people however are scary. Hopefully their kids will react like normal people do to being brainwashed and lied to...and reject their oppressors.

  • Ignorant home schooled bible thumbing kids that are conditioned to become the next generation of brainless and intolerant politicians? Creationism in biology class? Seriously? This is so unbelievably retarded.

You could reach the same level of education by mercilessly beating your kids in the face with a shovel everytime they say or think something other than a bible quote.

  • This scares me. Not only have they been denied an education as youngins, now they're being prevented from getting an education in college too.

  • Does anyone else get the feeling that the woman at 5:18 is a closeted lesbian?

Sweet JESUS, how is that Gruenke a biologist, a professor even? That's like being an oil tycoon and denying continental drift!

  • @AndrewTheEternal Obviously you do not need a degree to be a professor at this college. how she can call herself a biologist without having to repent is beyond me! lol.

  • @exconguitar hahahaahha!
