Where did you get the driver for the Ethernet connector? I looked everywhere and its the only thing stopping me from getting online (my d610 didn't come with internal wireless for some reason

Oh and you need to use the paperclip trick (look it up on the insanelymac forums) in the vga port, or plug an external VGA monitor in at all times otherwise when you boot you'll just get a blue screen and jack all else.

I am going insane with this build... :) I tried every possible version I could find, no go. The paperclip trick wont work for me either (I can use the external monitor though) but I never got passed the video problem. What did you do? Intel video or ATI?

The only problem I have left on my current install is that it doesn't clock the CPU down to save power and sleep mode doesn't work right, but I know it can be done because I had an install of 10.4.7 JaS, and that went to sleep just fine.

I tried Kalyway 10.5.4 and I couldn't seem to get it to work on this exact machine.

You can install programs on the hacked Mac just fine - I installed Office 2008 (downloaded of course), VLC, Adium, VMware Fusion, etc, no problems

Well here are the details:

I experimented a fair bit on getting OS X running on my D610, but it's currently running Leo4All 10.5.2. I had some issues with getting the graphics drivers to work properly on this laptop (but I got it in the end). The Bluetooth worked from the start, and as long as you have a compatible wireless card, you shouldn't need to do much at all.

I've already posted my solutions on insanelymac about how to get 10.4.11 Tiger and Leopard 10.5.2 on D610, but you have the translucent menubar and more and I need to know the graphics card you use and what else you've done to get a faster internet connection. Any help is great help :)
