During the Han dynasty the Chinese did not control land that far west. During the Han dynasty the Chinese did not control land that far west. XJ was conquered first during Tang (since the emperor was Hun or Xianbei mostly)then again after by Manchurians during the Qing dynasty. During most of the Chinese dynasties, Chinese have stuck mainly to the eastern parts of China, both north and south, but not west.

I never said we are totally Hun, in fact I said that we are a mix of different people. Scythians were the first nomads, then Huns, then Avars, then Magyars and Kabar Turks, then even Kypchaks and other Turks. They mixed with Germans and Slavs over time, so no, we're not "totally Hun" anything. I also just said Tang Dynasty was open and prosperous, which it was, and is probably the most referred to when talking about traditional Chinese culture, science, technology etc.
