dude...you gotta take what you can get. rand agrees with ron on every single issue except the token issues of guantanamo and tribunals. in my opinion i think he's just playing the game. however, even counting these against him, he's the best thing next to ron paul that the liberty movement has. in the senate, he'll have a lot more influence than ron ever could. our economic security and freedoms depend on this race... no libertarian leaning candidate has been in the senate for like 40 years
"Take what you can get" is what got America here in the first place. This is not a time for giving the "lesser of two evils" a mandate to rule. I won't tolerate this crap being done in the name of conservatism or libertarianism any longer. Now that Democrats are running the war, this should all be associated with them. In the mean time, we can BUILD a majority. Yes, that means WORK & TIME, not "take what you can get". This is one election cycle.... you're not seeing the road ahead.

Repeating yourself doesn't make your point any more valid. That's like saying I should have voted for McCain in '08 to stop Obama from winning. That type of logic is what got me to stupidly vote for Bush in '04 to stop Kerry, and that type of logic helped me convince myself that Bush was "conservative enough" and therefore worthy of my money and my vote in 2000. Less funding for military, all that money could go to saving this country from our economic downfall. Trialing terrorist off US Soil? What gives us the jurisdiction? Would we let other countries put our soldiers on trial in far away lands? Please...
I think its a calculated political position, but he supports repealing the patriot act, which would label americans as terrorists. I think the terrorists he supports prosecuting are people who are planting IEDs and doing other shit like that.
Guantanemo Bay isn't constitutional, it surprises me Rand would be in favour of it.
