One other thing I want to interject here, the endorsements that are shown by Hannity and Beck are from their radio shows. They don't speak by phone to people on their FOX News broadcasts. Their radio programs have nothing to do with FOX News. The one clip that they showed of Hannity on TV with Kasich probably wouldn't fall specifically under what might be deemed an "endorsement", although it is very borderline.
My question is: So what? FOX is a private enterprise, the same as MSNBC. They can have whatever rules they want for their air talent. Olby broke the rules of his station, he pays the price. Again...so what?

Okay. It's LOGIC TIME! How is this relevant? The people who run Fox News are not the same people who run MSNBC. Keith Olbermann worked for MSNBC not Fox News. Now, if there is a conservative anchor who works for MSNBC who donated money to conservative/Republican candidates, but didn't get suspended, THAT'S what should be pointed out. One other thing I want to interject here, the endorsements that are shown by Hannity and Beck are from their radio shows. They don't speak by phone to people on their FOX News broadcasts. Their radio programs have nothing to do with FOX News. The one clip that they showed of Hannity on TV with Kasich probably wouldn't fall specifically under what might be deemed an "endorsement", although it is very borderline.

The big deal is that all news corporations abide by rules right? Olbermann was fired because he broke the rules right? The rules stated that you cannot fund a campaign unless you notify your corporation and it is deemed appropriate. The point here is that Olbermann made a mistake and paid the price. Fox news anchors however do as they please with no consequences to their actions whatsoever. There's something wrong about that.
