When back in 1994 this song was a hit, I always thought at first it really was Kim who was singing....(Maybe it was a wishful thinking :-) Of course it was not her but Tasmin Archer...Always have liked the song, and certainly also this cover of *my* lady, who is just 10 days older than me :-)

I have every album Kim's done but I'm not a fan of the two songs I've heard so far off Snapshots. I think she did great covers with 'Hangin' On' and 'If I Can't Have You' but Kim has a unique sounding voice, which doesn't work with every song and is better suited to original material. Oh well, 'Come Out And Play' was a brilliant original album and I can wait another year or two for her next album of originals.

Wow, Kim Wilde is still releasing new music! This is some 30 years after her huge hit with "Kids in America." I always found it ironic that a British singer had her first hit singing about kids in America. It's fantastic to see someone over 50 releasing great new music. Sadly, this will probably get lost in the glut of prepubescent pablum crap the music industry has foisted upon us.
