The problem with Skyrim is apparently how it's design hence why the 360/PC versions are bugged to hell and back and the PS3 versions is darn near broken. Yeah, it sucks Skyward Sword has that one game breaking bug that can be patched/fixed. But Skyrim has dozens of KNOWN quest and game breaking bugs and many more bugs and glitches that have been made worse for some users with their patches. Don't get me wrong, Skyrim is a great game when it works correctly, but it's an absolute mess of a game

Believe me, I agree with you. Open world games tend to be more open to bugs and glitches and the like. But that doesn't give it a free pass. Yeah, Skyrim and SS are two different games by design, but then people probably shouldn't attempt calling out SS on its single game breaking bug when Skyrim has dozens. If it weren't for the autosave in Skyrim there would be quite a few times where I would have lost huge chunks of progress because of a freeze up, glitch or bug.

The problem with Skyrim is apparently how it's design hence why the 360/PC versions are bugged to hell and back and the PS3 versions is darn near broken. Yeah, it sucks Skyward Sword has that one game breaking bug that can be patched/fixed. But Skyrim has dozens of KNOWN quest and game breaking bugs and many more bugs and glitches that have been made worse for some users with their patches. Don't get me wrong, Skyrim is a great game when it works correctly, but it's an absolute mess of a game

Believe me, I agree with you. Open world games tend to be more open to bugs and glitches and the like. But that doesn't give it a free pass. Yeah, Skyrim and SS are two different games by design, but then people probably shouldn't attempt calling out SS on its single game breaking bug when Skyrim has dozens. If it weren't for the autosave in Skyrim there would be quite a few times where I would have lost huge chunks of progress because of a freeze up, glitch or bug.

It's kinda ignorant to say that only Zelda deserves to win the VGA GOTY, but I would have liked it if it did. Either way, Spike TV knows nothing about games. Remember last year? Spike is all about appealing to the masses. The show was nothing more than a fashion show full of celebrities and commercials. Only good part was Premiers, DeadMau5, The Godly Miyamoto, and the Black Baron. Congrats to Skrym for winning GOTY,

i like skyrim and skyward sword. ive grown up with legend of Zelda all my life but i also played arena the elder scrolls 1 when it came out. the point of a game is to have fun it is not to argue about what game is better. legend of zelda is personally my favorite action adventure game. skyrim is my favorite rpg is skyrim. ect ect but the point is every game has its strong and weak points in it.
