Das wort habe ich zuerst in deiner Videos gehoert und damit habe ich angefangen. Jetzt wird es mir nie langweilig wenn ich meine gitaare in Hand nehme. Frueher hab ich nur "beginner's Songs" gespielt und nach 15 minuten war es langweilig. Jetzt mit scale kann ich ohne ende und ohne pause meine familie Stoeren :0

THIS IS THE BETTER WAY TO START GUITAR.

Nothing better than learning first the pentatonic scale and repeating it 500000 times. Then, try to find your own licks.

Hello Siggi thanx for your time & hard work! Am I right in saying (I'm currently learning my scale patterns) if I were to play this pattern from the 5th fret it would be the A minor Penta, and the same pattern starting from the 8th fret would be the C major penta? Thanx!

starting at 8th fret would be the C minor pentatonic as it is the minor pentatonic scale.

Thanx for your reply Parragon01, sorry maybe I should have been clearer. I meant to say, play the same pattern over Frets 5 to 8 but not playing the root note A, but staring on the root note C then playing the D note on the 5th string 5th fret, and so on through the same pattern, would this be C major penta, relation to A minor penta? Thanx!

I think you are correct, misty.  If you play the major scale in open position, it's the same notes as starting on the 8th fret.

Thanx Larry! I'de been and looked it up because it kinda stuck in my head since I seen this. But yes, I've since learned that for instance if you play the C minor penta and shuffle back 3 half steps & play the same pattern backwards, leading with your pinky from the C note at fret 8 & play to the 5th fret it becomes the C major penta! Thanx for replying it's good to get some kind of confirmation!
