To show that opera singers are just like everyone else.. making it accessible to all instead of just an elite group who "know" about opera... We need more people to invest! If you want to really hear the queen of sopranos, you would want to listen to Joan Sutherland, Joan has a better voice than Renee Fleming an is known throughout the world. Luciano Pavorotti Called Joan the "the voice of the Century" and the queen of england gave joan the title "dame" becuase of her outstanding achievements in the genre.

I think it's crazy to say one singer is the voice of the century when no one singer has made a career of doing operas by themself.
