I would not recommend using this cleaner either, I have used it. Even the bottle reads "do not use on painted surfaces, aluminum, brass,chrome,copper" It is a good degreaser, but if you have any polished off parts, it will haze them. Prob best for a chain only.

I would recomend Simple Green for Degreasers, they are found at your FLAPS.
