I didnt dream this... I KNOW I saw a MegaMan 3 commercial in America MANY years ago. From what I remember, it involved a guy wearing a suit, carrying a briefcase and he's being chased. he drops the briefcase and it pops open, revieling the MegaMan 3 box, and thats the end of the commercial. He has black hair. Sometimes they use a darker blue to represent black in animes, as well as a dark purple, there are like a bunch of different shades of black they use. I believe mega man also has black hair.

What I find confusing is that the MM3 instruction booklet says Wily's good again, but he looks sinister in this commercial, and the JP title is Wily's last stand. Was this just another revenge plot like MM@ in Japan where Wily is just at it again, and the whole thing with him faking to be good again a translation goof?

With the rendition of Proto Man in this commercial, you can see the Osamu Tezuka influence (creator of Astro Boy, which served as an influence for the Mega Man series). Without his helmet and only wearing the sunglasses, Proto Man looks SPOT-ON like Rock Holmes, a recurring character in Tezuka's manga series.
