I feel it's forced, i don't see why this should have that old look and the poetry of it feels not at all genuine.

But you know what. I like the idea. And I know how difficult it is to translate ideas to actual film, so i appreciate the effort.

I love this.. it means so much to me but in a way i'm not sure why! I see it as a girl trying to be happy but can't. People come and try and comfort her but they want her problems or can't help. But in the end she manages to face the problems head on.

To me this is saying that if you have a problem in life then don't let it get you down. By the woman going into the water she is confronting her problems head on. And then the problem seems to disappear.

It also sends out the message that if you have something bothering you deal with it straight away rather than wasting time.

And it could mean try something random when things are getting you down and it could work for you.

Then she is at the sea. There is some realisation to her - it is still raining on her but she sees the sea, a symbolic escape/solution. She can now be happy and she leaves whatever has affected her behind.

This means many things, you decide how it is for yourself.

I think this can mean many things.

I notice someone mentioned walking into water was suicide.

I thought the rain was depression, mental illness or some other impediment.

One you could not escape, one that made a sunny day, a rainy one. One that affected and repelled those nearing you.

Walking into the water was an escape from this, the rainy could not follow you.

@cabadejo Here's what I reckon... walking into the water wasn't an escape from her feelings. She was trying to escape from her feelings of depression/whatever by trying out a relationship with the guy and it didn't work because he ended up feeling the same way (represented by the water falling onto him aswell). The only thing she could do was to dive into the ocean so she could overcome her fear of feeling all the emotions she's trying to avoid and this would make her stronger -

This feels right to me as it resonates with something I've felt myself recently, but obviously there's any number of ways to interpret something as non-specific as this.
