  • eeuuhh

  • @mindo601 OK

  • i believe for $25,000 or even just half that amount, one can probably build a home mansion there in an existing land with all the modern conveniences available in US/UK, and be surrounded by nature still.

  • Now, this is my idea of paradise! No sarcasm here, but this is exactly the kind of simple life that I want to live in the Philippines - the nipa hut with no electricity, the outdoor comfort room, the stove, and all. I really envy you, Popz. Now, if I can only persuade my wife for us to move there, instead of living here in cold Delaware, but that's another story... Great series about life in the Philippines, if not the best I have seen in YouTube, definitely is one of the best.

  • @lorenzoweyler Thanks for your kind words. It's more than difficult to change a woman's mind. To have her like this style of living is almost impossible. My wife was raised in the simple life. That's why I have no problem with her. I really hate cold weather. I could never live in Delaware. lol I love the weather here. Everything is always green and pretty. The winter in America depress me. Thanks for viewing...Popz

  • damn man you couldn't spring for a better shitter a 5 gallon bucket would be better than that ..steps are pretty simple to build also..spend alittle more money your in the cheapest country in the world to live in..stuff is cheap there and labor too..i'm going to retire with my wife there in about 20yrs but i wouldn't think of having her shitting in a hole

  • @1wicked2008 Lol Lol. I needed a good laugh ! I have no defense. Things are the way they are when you marry a woman from the simple life. This is her Mama & Papas simple life. We live in a block home. We still live a simple life compared to the western world. My niece said there is no way she could or would live this way. Of course if you live on $773 dollars a month you may have to adjust your thinking and budget. My wife says "It's better to have Honey, than Money" ...... Popz

  • ang ganda ng buhay ah!!! pano ka nakakapagcomputer tol??!?!

  • @nicolemuere09 lmao !

  • "I think that says it all about the bus ride" Best line ever!

I am getting things in order and hope to retire to Cebu next year. But I don't know about a nipa hut.... Great videos mate (^_^)

  • @Tukarama The bus rides are crazy. Great place to retire,Cebu. Stay in touch. You'll be suprised how easy it is to live in one. Maybe ? lol ..................Popz

  • I love the philippines but I could never stay in the province.. I would be bored out of my mine. Cebu is very nice too. I would love to move there for 6 months to a year.

  • @deadcell1 Yes, Cebu is a great place. It has everything. I enjoy peace and quite. Something hard to come by in the big city. Thanks for viewing..........Popz

  • I married a beautiful women from there, I plan to retire there in a few years, I really believe in some ways it is the better life, and the women I married is the best, unbeatable, I'll love her to the end!!

  • where is this in the philippines,,,,i love the nature,,,when you want to live simple and close to nature,,,philippines is a plane away...

  • @mingocarlo This is south Islands. This is the Island of Negros. Canlaon is in Negros Oriental. Right in the center of the Island. This is a place where you don't need Banks and American ways. All the American way are about one hour one way. That's where we just moved to, San Carlos. Google Canlaon City, Negros Oriental. Popz

  • i'm going back to the philippines for the 3rd time this march

  • @808bayside Why not stay ? It's cheaper than round trip airfare to spend the year here.My one bedroom house is 2500 pesos a month ($58 dollars) Popz

  • @pop65z its because i'm only 15 and i have so much family also in hawaii

  • Yeah thats true, thanks for the advice.

  • @pop65z you too take care and god bless!

  • @pop65z I hear that alot about the ladies in the philippines are the best. They know how to clean, cook, wash clothes, they are very hard workers and they dont complain. My mom wants me to marry a lady there, and I want too but its hard for me to communicate with the ladies cause I cant speak the language but I can understand. I could only stay in the philippines for less than 6 months cause im an 'alien' or a green card holder before my green card expires.

  • @marrrkkkkk There are many who do speak English well. You can pick the woman you want. No worries. One problem at a time. Don't do anything wrong and no one cares if your here. Marry her here and live here. I did. Popz

  • Damn, I miss the philippines! I just came back from philippines a week ago and I already want to go back as soon as possible. I love the lifestyle there, the people, the ladies, food, the air, basically everything. I cant wait till I go back again. Im considering living there when im a senior citizen but thats a long time from now. Im only 19 so maybe 50-55 years from now. Haha!

    ALOHA from HAWAII!

  • @marrrkkkkk Hahahahaha ! I can't stop laughing. lol. 19 Wow. I'm not sure what it will be like here 45 years from now ? lol The Ladies here are the best. I don't know how you can look at the ladies anywhere after being here. My Advice ? Do it now. Spend a couple of years here at least I would. You'll look back and say. I should have. God Bless. Halong (take care)

  • @bayyagg Glad you moved ! Popz

  • that's NIPA HUT. its airconditioned without the need of electrictiy. i missed that though.

  • @catwoman9574 Very cool here at night in Canlaon City. It's colder than

  • at least you have a home

  • @milmao897 Yes. Thank God. Merry Christmas. God Bless. Popz

  • I love it!!!!

  • living in the philippines for under $700 is bullcrap, the only way that is possible is when you live in a shitty place or live far away from the cities

  • @franciskentoandasan Well, I guess you don't know jack s**t. I live in a city of 35,000 people. I live in a nice concrete block 2 bedroom one bath apartment for 3000 pesos a month. Electric 1500 pesos a month. Water 35 pesos a month. Go figure 43 pesos to the dollar. You can see my place in my videos. So I guess you got bull crap all over your face. Butt Head !

  • @pop65z yea treat not nice people like a BOSS

  • @franciskentoandasan are you just making jokes? I hope your not an American making the rest of us look stuiped, $700 US dollars is over 30000 PHP. Look up the cost of living in the Philippines before you make stuiped comments like that.

  • Hey, I'm going to meet my girlfriend after New Year, we're both 24. I will only stay there for 3 weeks. After that, it's back to cold Norway.. I know I could live like this since I'm not asking for much. Does it never get cold there, not even when it rains?

  • @vettafaene Never cold here. Hot & Humid ! I hate cold. I love the weather. Wher you coming to. Manila Area ?

I live 500 miles from there. Ins a lot here. Non Canlaon City. Google the city. We live in the mountains. Great cool night always. It rains here a lot. But, never cold. Stayin Touch. Pop

  • @pop65z She is born and raised in Aloguinsan, but moved to Lapu-Lapu City. The distance is about 54.79 miles. I'm going to travel with her mothers cousin, so I'm not completely lost, haha. Would it be difficult to understand the currency? I have Dyscalculia, (meaning I have trouble to read numbers and sometimes the concentration level is low) but I'm not going to let it stop me.

    Stig

  • Wow, and I was upset b/c they didn't have hit water and a toilet set when I went!

I would not mind living in that kinda house, but could not get past that CR . oh well , Spoiled American!

  • @chuck6969100 It's not hard. It doesn't smell. I don't have a problem. You got to go. Haha

    Thanks for your comment

    Popz

  • @chuck6969100 LOL we Americans are spoiled I do agree with you there. Sometimes I wish our lives weren't so automated we would appriciate life more.

  • @chuck6969100 - 200$ can solve your problem, with that you can make a tiled CR, sometimes an open mind can solve a lot of problems.

  • To all of you ignant tourists or expats out there:

Stay the hell out of Manila(maybe live somewhere about 1 hour drive from Manila) and you can stretch you cashflow. Yes, you can live comfortably under $700 a month. I'm a retired African-American, who make about $1,000/mo from my pension and I lovin my life in the Philippines. I'm eating good, living good, and having a great life so far..this is paradise if you know how to manage your cashflow.

  • @BrownSugar253 Yes, that's right. I'm retired on $750 SS. Spend about $400 to live great in Canlaon City.

    Popz

  • @BrownSugar253 I rented a Condo in Paranque City for a month and it was $180 utilities paid fully furnished. I think I could live in Metro Manila for under $700 a month

  • The end bus ride was classic. Ohh, so true. Cerrus Bus Liner. Woww.

Thanks for the good memory reminder.
