The fact that Jim Harlan, a hopeful LOUISIANA politician, running as a DEMOCRAT yet selling an image as a CONSERVATIVE, should scream corruption to anyone with half a brain. This is politics at its worst because the people of Louisiana don't really have a choice for this election. The choice is either elect Scalise, a corrupted republican, or elect Harlan, a phony closet republican who has to legally run as a democrat to get a chance for election. You're related to Jim Harlan, aren't you?

Actually the fact is that Jim Harlan has to run on a somewhat conservative platform in order to get elected in this district. He is actually an OBAMA delegate; so do you still doubt his philosophy? I live in this district, and Bush has a 70% approval rating in this district and won this district with over 70% of the vote. Also, Bobby Jindal, our governor was formerly congressman in this distrct, and he received 90% of the vote against somewhat well funded democrats.

Also, because the district is so conservative, you have have a somewhat conservative platform and you definitely can't shoot off Democratic Party talking points. Look, would you rather a Democrat, who is just playing the game he has to play to get elected so he can bring Obama an extra voice in the house, or would you rather Scalise who is just another voice for the Republicans?
