Soft water is better with black tea, but what do you do with hard water. All major tea brands taste different in hard water. Talking Typhoo, PG Tips, Tetley. Yorkshire tea has a hard water version out. Any suggestions?
I have really hard water, and get a 'scum' on the top of the tea! (YUCK!) But a friend told me if you add just a little salt to your water before boiling, then that won't happen. Maybe you could try that? I tried it once and it seemed to help.
reverse osmosis drinking systems makes the best tea...not a pur filter..has to be reverse osmosis.
