@NetGenDesign Most of my products are now, at least, organic or all natural. As for vegan, that's a little tougher to find. BUT I was super happy to find out that most of my Urban Decay make-up I use very regularly is vegan and all of it is cruelty free. That was a blessing because I use their products A LOT!
I've been a veggie for 3 years now but just recently been aware of all the companys that test on animals. Which I have been using such as Myabelline, Loreal, Olay. But now i'll be switching to Urban Decay and Tom's Maine products and I have found out Herbal Essence and Neutogina is okay. I also use physicions Formula which is really good. Thank you so much for the website. Its really sickening what people do to animals just for money or their own personal benefit.
Oh - I know. It makes me sick what people do to animals and to their own bodies. Have you seen the movies Fresh and Food, Inc.? I can't even think about America the same anymore. Don't get me wrong - I love this country - but we are letting big corporations give people cancer!!! I wish there was a way for people like us to really change things.
So true.. no wonder others call us americans stupid. No, Iv'e never seen that movie before but I'll look it up. People are just dumb clueless these days, the human race has become so arrogent and self loathing.
I will try the hair products next order. I just did a conditioning rinse with Apple Cider Vinegar and if you can handle the smell - it does help the hair feel softer and give it shine!!
Yes, apple cider is good, especially if you have product build up. ACV is good for alot of things; but the smell is tough. Sevi's shampoos are very balanced. The conditioners (both) we use at our salon. They are fabulous. Lightly diluted, they double as anti-frizz, smoother without weighing the hair down. You've got to try them next time. Too bad you're not in Syracuse, we have a vegan restaurant in our building. It's the bomb. "Strong Hearts Cafe". Yes on twitter @hairhabitat.
I would love to have a Vegan restaurant close to me. That is my biggest problem in my life!! You are so lucky. I am going to twitter to say hi now!!! LOL
I live down in the south and I feel the same way. I'll try to explain to someone that I'm vegan and they'll look at me like I said a bad word. For the most part Floridians are dumb. Not all...but most.
If you ever visit Florida watch out for the HORRIBLE drivers. <#3
What part of Florida are you in - I am going to check your profile now!!! Are you on twitter too!! I know, everywhere I go - they act like Vegans are some type of disabled sub-human!! LOL, cause we are looking at them the same way!!!
Why up in Lake George at a Walmart is 90% of their food products organic, but any Walmart you pick down south has like 3% organic food? Are the people up north smarter with their diets? I shop Target for Organic or 100% all natural cereal so I go there for breakfast foods. I also shop at Stop in Shop that has like 2 isles dedicated to Organic foods at a decent price. Then you have the higher priced places like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods which I go to once a month.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I live in the south, so that is why I have so much trouble. I feel the most pressure from the people around me. Everytime I talk about organic or vegan, everyone looks at me like I am crazy. It is like I suddenly become weird or something. I feel like McDonald's and Wal-mart are so popular that people really hate me for not going there. Thank you so much for your comment.
Thank you Joey for sending me this video, it's lovely. What a wonderful presentation for such a caring product. I just forwarded your video to all of my friends. We are all aging showing wrinkles and the last thing we need is cancer from a scientific approach of skin cream.
Organic products don't burn or give you such an extreme reaction on your skin. I love searching for new natural things to use daily so that I don't have to support how Large Corporations put chemicals in everything that we use. I think if more people demanded eco friendly and chemical free products - people would stop getting so many diseases. Let me know if you find anything that I should check out!!! Thank you for your comment.
Cool, nice to see you promoting organic. Everyting was pretty much organic back in our grandparents days. Scientist have made things cheaper and last longer on a shelf, but that causes cancer. Cancer is man made. Stay away from man made and live longer. 100% Natural is the way to go....
I try so hard to have a 100% organic lifestyle, but it is a battle. Basically, I can't shop anywear. I am starting to find products on line, but it is especially hard to find clothing. What kinds of things do you use that are natural everyday? I like to see the solutions that other people come up with. Do you have a good local Health Food Store? I try to support my local places instead of always going to Whole Foods. I am allergic to corn - so I am with you with your fight against HFCS!!
What you were saying about the lotions, you're completely correct. I use about half a pea size of vegan lotion for my hands and it works wonders.
