There are many onsenbath house for free in this Kusatsu all of you should remember.
An Auzie friend of mine knew more than me.

We visited a few. The video I took inside an onsen was one such free onsen. Very nice!

Nahh, -7 is not cold ;) But I agree with you, the river onsen in Kusatsu is fantastic. Especially in night time if you've got clear skies so you can see the stars above you.

no the water you bath in does'nt smell like that just the outside of the onsen for some reason does.
